Thinking out loud.

I’m working on regaining my confidence these last couple of months. Not talking about my outer appearance or anything superficial, but just realizing that old habits really do die hard & there’s things I’ve gone through that have fucked me up so much mentally/emotionally that I’ve become a “different” person … mentally/emotionally, ha. I’m coming from a bad place these last couple of months where I developed these bad habits, but I’m trying to regain my strength to just lose those habits. I’ve conditioned myself to have this “idgaf” mentality that idk what to do when I actually DO gaf. It’s making me crazy. I wanna let go, but it’s like poison. It just takes over & grabs a hold of you.

I'm not talking about drugs, btw. Even though FEELINGS can feel like a drug sometimes, huh ?

I wanna learn how to control these feelings.

The moment you realize that everyone was right & you played no one else but yourself. 😂 All I know is that it's on to incredibly bigger & definitely better things ! I'm thankful to be alive & happy to be by myself, rather than dying in a situation I wasn't meant to be in. Accepting all the "I told you so's" & taking it as a lesson learned, but also a mistake that I will NEVER make again. No one should ever go through what I had to go through.
