hi, just wanted to let you know that while i darkened it a bit, i actually did not color marinette's hair in that edit. it still looks a like a blend of dark grey and purple in some lighting but is a far more neutral blackish color most of the time and i love it a lot. there's also a great post floating about how the new animation shows off her wasian/asian features more clearly in a lot of other ways, and it's my favorite thing.

i actually loved the concept of her having black blue hair (the nod to comic books) but i always thought it was so poorly executed and the new animation is just so so much better.
