WE ARE SO BACK
Exam season just ended, I’ll be catching up on miraculous, so get ready for some old episodes thoughts spam
kinda cool kagami is lowkey and chill about being a sentimonster, felix told her and she was like "fr?? shitttt... crazy man, wanna make out?"
CHAT NOIR HAVING HIS OWN ADVENTURES? SIGN ME UP.
I’ve been delaying watching this for so long, that I feel the lack of miraculous content in my brain
i fear if you dont know how adrien and chat noir could possibly be the same person you dont understand his character
if you think adrien's "true self" is chat noir you dont understand his character
adrien agreste is a mask, that much we all understand, to be something he is not, to be in between the lines of perfection, to stand upon a pedestal for all eyes to see and he must bear it
chat noir is also a mask, (and not just the literal one) he is over the top, he is silly, he is everything adrien agreste cant be, the complete opposite of him, always being portrayed as a angel, white everywhere, and chat noir is shrouded in darkness, a little mischievous thing
adrien agreste isnt "adrien" and neither is chat noir, its similar to how parents deprive their children of something, like sugar and when that child has access to it, they go overboard, but that doesnt mean that's "them"
he's neither, both are a mask to hide whats underneath, whats underneath you may ask? nothing. because he hasnt found himself yet, he doesnt know who he isnt because he's too busy with these masks
though that doesnt always mean he's nothing either, there's traits to him that stick, even in both sides of the mask, he's kind and patient, even as chat noir comforting ladybug in her worst moments, he's silly and tells puns, even as adrien, because he cant help himself around his friends when he's having a good time
he's 14 and has been pushed into this one role for so long and then when he's able to escape he goes crazy with it, he just needs time to find himself, he's young, he will get there, but dont think that he already found himself as chat noir just because he enjoys it
wow. we used to pray for times like this.
For a person who hates children, she has a lot
Where is she even hiding them
The issue with this episode’s plotline is that, technically, if anything, Mylène should go to Ladybug and Chat Noir (even though we, the audience, know it’s them — she doesn’t). It’s also not really necessary to block the entire production of the movie, which is what I understood they were talking about after Mylène and her dad mentioned its script.
It might be full of lies, but we also have free speech and the right to our own opinions. I find it so strange that the episode began with Mylène showing off a utopian Paris, and then we immediately see one of the human rights being broken.
I understand that the message was about not spreading lies, but the same message could have been executed without, again, taking away their rights.
The situation could have been handled by our superheroes simply telling them to change the names or to include a disclaimer at the beginning of the movie stating that it’s a form of mockumentary
I hate it when I make extra time to watch those episodes, and the episode isn’t even good
When the show first aired, I think I was about her age, and it’s so weird to realize that my bedtime has been that of a grown-up’s for a while now, while she’s still stumbling over her words when she reads
The second screenshot is hilarious
The switch from “she’s just a friend” to playing mommy and daddy is crazy ngl
It’s so meaningful that after he says he’s ready to move on, he kisses Marinette’s cheek. It’s so sweet how he makes it seem like she’s the one he wants to move on with
And for the record, I kind of feel weird writing this, because I’m the last person who’d tell fourteen-year-olds to stay together forever
The thing about Adrien is that even if not everything’s going well in his life, he’ll always enjoy spending time with Marinette. I’m pretty sure it’s a quote of his from previous seasons
Absolutely criminal for miraculous ladybug to continue airing with no consideration for my adult job availability. So rude of them. Appalling even.
Im thinking of taking a day off on airing days
This episode gave us three hard facts about Amoks:
1 you can give a command unwillingly just by holding it
2 the commands can be suggestive and not necessarily direct orders
3 the commands can be used to alter even state of minds (Felix going to worried to not worried)
This 100% suggests how Adrien was constantly being manipulated from a young age by Gabriel and Emilie(since they AWAYS wore the rings), and the fact that he being "perfect" now is the result of years of constant and subtle tampering in his head.
Miraculous truly is a "psychological horror if you squint" show.
Contrasting previous seasons, Adrien now has a folded collar and Felix now has a loose collar....which could mean nothing at all!
