He’s childhood friends with Glitz’s Joomi, and the two have recently reconnected.
Jihu can play the guitar and drums, and was in a band for the majority of his high school years.
Despite being the group’s maknae, the members oftentimes joke that he belongs more in the hyung line than Jukyun does.
He has freckles, but they’re unfortunately usually covered by makeup.
Jihu admits that when he was a kid, he wanted to grow up to be a cardiovascular surgeon, but obviously his plans changed.
While he isn’t actually allergic to bananas, he just hates them, so he claims that he’s allergic as an excuse to not eat them.
The hanja for his given name, 智勳, translate to “knowledge” and “merits deed” respectively.
Fans refer to him as the group’s puppy, even if he hates it. The other members occasionally call him Jjigae, which is a double play on words with his name and the Korean word for dog/pup, as well as his favorite food, kimchi jjigae.
His favorite colors are salmon pink and rich purple, though never together.
Despite his occasionally prickly demeanor, Jihu is physically very clingy with the other boys, and is usually seen hanging off of Taejoo or Jukyun’s arm or draped over Rowan’s lap. Basically, his rule is he can only be babied when he initiates it.
He has a filthy mouth and if he’s being irritated by the others, every other word is going to be bleeped out if they’re being recorded.
Fans say he fits FEYWILD’s concept especially well, because he seems like a faerie himself due to his fine features and shorter stature.
According to him, he was very athletic in high school, and played soccer in addition to being in a band.

Rewind is the second mini album released by Superbia Entertainment’s six-member boy group, RPM. It was released on January 10th, 2016, not long after their powerful debut. The album consisted of seven tracks, with the title Throwback. The concept this era was very complex, and carried through in depth with a fifteen minute long music video/short film.
The visual concept this era surrounded a neon, sci-fi, and crime-laden Korean future. RPM starred as a notoriously ruthless gang known for owning half of Seoul, stepping on whomever got in their way. At first, fans were a bit concerned to see RPM portrayed as such hardened and violent criminals, but their amazing acting and the plot-driven nature of the video swayed nearly everyone eventually. Plus...they certainly got what they deserved at the end.

CONCEPT NOTES
Each member played a very well-developed and defined role in the music video.
Jaehwa played the gang’s leader, and was one of the more level-headed members. He and Kiyong appeared to be especially close, and it was clear through dialogue between parts of the song that they were raised as adopted brothers.
Yonghoon’s role was very much the right-hand man/second-in-command. He and Jaehwa spent much of their time together. He was also notably close with Finn, though they fought more than the other members did.
Kyungjae’s role was the relatively unhinged and somewhat unpredictable weapons man, and was obviously a bit of a pyromaniac.
Kiyong, along with being Jaehwa’s younger brother, was the tech specialist and man behind the scenes...clearly, much to his chagrin.
Finn, despite seeming calm and down to earth, was prone to outbursts of uncontrolled anger and violence. While he was close to Yonghoon, they were literally introduced fighting physically.
Hyukjin...how to describe him other than a bit insane? He was certainly the most violent and difficult to control member, though very close to Jaehwa.
Each member wore a Japanese-inspired mask.
Jaehwa’s was the only half-mask, and was in the likeness of a Japanese Oni, or demon.
Yonghoon’s was in the shape of a fox.
Kyungjae’s was a tiger.
Kiyong’s mask was a rabbit, notably the only prey animal.
Finn’s mask was a wolf.
And, lastly, Hyukjin’s a cat.
Fans only really pieced it together later, but each mask also had a small gemstone on the forehead, which was obviously later connected to the representative gemstones for each Newmoon member, their sister group.
Overall, the plot was relatively straightforward. Due to the boys’ incredible acting, it was easy to pick up on the tension between the members from the beginning, most notably between Jaehwa and Kiyong. As there was dialogue in the video, Jaehwa and Kiyong had a scene in which they were arguing about how sheltered Kiyong was, and how tired the younger was of being treated like a child.
Following a round of Hyukjin and Jaehwa shaking down individuals in the area for money, the two returned to the nightclub the gang used as a base of operations. There, following further arguments between the majority of the members surrounding the riskiness of attempting to expand their territory and influence, Kiyong suggested killing a rival gang’s leader during a formal event scheduled for the next week. They were to go under the pretense of formalities and the potential for business negotiations, and end up betraying the supposed truce.
Ultimately, it ended up being a trap...however, not a trap set by the rival gang working alone. As the RPM members began to draw their guns in the banquet hall, the men around them did precisely the same. Kiyong was mysteriously missing during this scene, and following a brief argument, Jaehwa was shot through the chest by the rival gang leader.
After that...well, it was a bit of a bloodbath. Finn was shot and seemingly killed while defending Yonghoon, and one by one, the members were gunned down during the final chorus of the song.
Following Kiyong walking off (though not after replacing his rabbit mask with Jaehwa’s own, blood-splattered oni), the final scene revealed that Finn was not dead after all...at least, not quite yet. He reached out to brush his bloodied fingertips along the gemstone at the forehead of his discarded mask, which went flying during the conflict. It momentarily glowed before the video went to black, leaving fans abuzz with countless theories.
ERA NOTES
Visually, the video was a masterpiece. It was incredibly high budget, and the brighter palette of neon, vaporwave-esque hues contrasted brilliantly with the otherwise morbid plot.
The hair colors for the era and music video were as follows:
Jaehwa - black
Yonghoon - dark blue
Kyungjae - black
Kiyong - blond
Finn - Grey-blue
Hyukjin - white
There were two styling concepts for this era:
The first was influenced by Japanese street-fashion, and included pieces like silk jackets embroidered with dragons and tigers; as well as slicked-back hair, fingerless gloves, tight jeans, and patent leather.
The second was influenced by tech-wear, and featured items like tactical vests, harnesses (both chest and thigh), and heavy boots.
The masks also played a key role in styling, and at the beginning of the extended performance version of Throwback, there is a dance sequence featuring them and several backup dancers masked.
Kiyong went extra ham with aegyo during interviews and behind the scenes videos to counteract his ickiness in the music video.

He produces the majority of the group’s songs, including the entirety of their debut album.
Kyuha is very athletic, and enjoys skiing, swimming, and playing volleyball, in particular.
He’s currently being given English lessons by Ren, which unfortunately means starting with cursed phrases and meme terminology.
The Chinese characters for his given name, 圭夏, mean “jade pointed at the top” and “multicolored”, respectively.
His stagename was originally supposed to be Q, but he opted to use his real name, instead.
He produces under the name Q&A, for both FEYWILD and other idol groups. He got his start on Soundcloud, and a lot of his older music is still up there under that name.
He’s closest with Ren in the group, and the two of them are pretty much the chaos line in the group. Renha is also a popular ship amongst fans.
He’s notoriously the hardest member to wake vip in the mornings, and rarely, if ever, is awake before noon unless he absolutely has to be. He also has a habit of falling asleep on the other members and even staff.
Kyuha pretty much needs to be babysat by staff (along with Seungho). He will run off and do cartwheels down hallways if he isn’t at arms length of a manager who can stop him.
He cannot stand spicy foods or anything too sour, and claims even dark chocolate is too bitter for him.
Fans have noted that Kyuha smiles very easily on camera, and has a wonderfully captivating presence both on and offstage.
According to him, he’s broken his phone screen six times in the past three months.
Kyuha’s favorite colors are mint green, teal, and silver.

His stage name translates to “sorcery,” or “magic.”
Yosul was born to be a star. His mother, Kang Jihyun, was a solo artist under SM Entertainment before she retired to focus on her family. His father, a musician/songwriter, is also notable in the music industry.
All of the members agree that Yosul gives the best advice, and they go for him when they need anything at all.
While he’s normally angelic and very sweet, Yosul has confessed that he can be somewhat temperamental, and he gets snippy and annoyed with the others when they don’t give him space.
He’s a god at singing a cappella, and he truly has one of the prettiest voices in the company.
The other members cutely call him “yoyo” at times, especially as a references to how quickly his mood can go back and forth and change.
The hanja for his name, 娧遒, means “beautiful” and “strong”.
He drinks a lot of tea! Fans joke that his voice is so honeyed because of the fact that he’s rarely seen without a mug of tea.
He’s very easy to startle, and there are countless compilations of the other members scaring him. When he’s been surprised, he goes immediately into fight mode, and usually raises his fists, but the terrified baby look on his face kinda defeats the purpose. He’ll even try to fight fireworks when they startle him.
The group’s maknae, Jihu, is very close to Taejoo. They’re rarely seen not clinging to each other in some capacity.
Taejoo just seems to be the emotional support boy for most of the members. If he’s with them, he’s got at least two of them hanging off of him, playing with his hair, or being annoying. He’s an easy target, but at least he’s used to it and will just ignore Renzhu yanking at his ears and Kyuha poking at his cheeks while he talks.
He is good friends with RE:NEW’s Junsu and ULTRAVIOLET’s Minsung.
He went to an international school when he was younger, and as such, he speaks English.
