i just wanna say your rant about new octavian fans and the new pjo series fans are so real and valid (coming from a non octavian fan yet i still do a lot of fanart for him)

genuinely, a lot (NOT ALL) of the fans really do put down the older more experienced and dedicated ones and claim that they know everything. i cannot FATHOM the people who say that theyre '____'s biggest fan' when there are clearly others who are more 'connected', devoted to that character in their own ways and that makes me so disappointed 💔 i also loved your point about neurodivergent fans and hyperfixations, i appreciated that A LOT , but i wont go deeper into my own opinion as im not neurodivergent myself

all things aside, i loved every bit of your rant and i think more people need to recognise this
