One fatal mistake sends Shikadai and Inojin's life into a mess. Everything begins to fall apart.
Upon discovery of Shikadai's relationship, the Nara Clan elders put into place an old clan law. It states that in the case the heir is unfit to decide their marriage, they will choose a spouse for them. A plan is made to marry Shikadai off to a young woman from another shinobi clan.
Shikadai is left with a choice. Conform to their standards, never truly being happy or... abandon it all for a chance of being himself.
