I woke up to a true blessing, which was the announcement of summer event. I am a bit devastated after ep 20 but that is not important right now.
The thing is that the bar for summer events in this game is on the floor. I wasn't the biggest fan of last year event, so I like to think that whatever we are going to be served this time will be better.
I don't have any expectations but i want MERMAIDS, this is so important to me. This is all I need. And based on the cover my wishes might will come true

I've been speed-running MCL NG recently, and I finished ep 19 today!!! Which is a huge thing cause after ep 19 I stopped following what was happening cause I didn't wanted any spoilers.
And I just gathered some opinions that I wanted to share with you! It is a long post, just a small warning. (˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶)
✦ I was waiting for romantic moments between ysaline and jason, but I just love going back to the first episodes where they hated eachoter. IDK I like some good enemies moment.
✦ Episode 14 is my favorite. It's so cute and lovely, like YES jason I love when you are cute. Do that more often instead of whatever the fuck you are doing
✦ Episode 17 is my second favorite. It has everything that I love: Castiel, Lysander, funny dialouge, interesting plot, and those illustrations!!!
✦ But episode 6 is my least favorite one. Not only my scene with jason is crazy weird, thats not my kink sorry, but the whole episode is just uhhh borrrringggg
✦ I am a big fan of npc characters - the silhouette ones. Idk I love their poses, that is funny
✦ While on Jasons route, why are our friends from Dementia like ... BLIND????? Why are we blaming everything on jason, when for 80% of the time, its Ysaline who called for him! SHE is in love with him. But maybe they think that she is so stupid that she doesnt know what is going on? I don't know how to explain it. The only person who knows EVERYTHING is Brune! Brune knows what happened in ep19.
✦ Ysaline goes through some sort of character development (this opinion is half joke) but its kinda weird? She just becomes mean to everyone. She barely talked to spencer but she thinks he has no personality and in ep18 she didn't even listened to his presentation. In ep 16 her first instinct after seeing jason in the park was INSULTING HIM MANY TIMES. Not to mention how Devon literally says that she was mean to a client. What is going on girl? Be more merciful, please.
✦ This not an opinion but a fact - I have maxed out my lovometer with Elenda. She is so sweet and she doesn't hate anyone, she also doesn't roll her eyes every two seconds, unlike brune.
✦ I am not the biggest fan of Brune. When she says something I agree with, she also has to say something that annoys me. a lot.
✦ I think that halloween event 2025 was the best event out of all of them. Every character got their own story and they were diverse, super emotional and I just enjoyed them so so much. Valentines 2026 were nice too but idk there was just something so amazing about last year halloween event... I miss her.
✦ While we are talking about events, I think we all can agree that summer 2025 DID NOT DELIVERED. It was so boring uhhhhh, the only good thing was the dialouge from scene with Jason were he asks Yasline if its her first time standing in line. Yes, yes, it is.
✦ I don't think it's possible but I wish we would get outfits of Elenda and Brune. Idk what could be the occasion but I like their outfits and I think its a cute idea. Sorry we have outfit of our uncle Archibald, why can't we get anything inspired by our friends???
✦ This might be niche but I actually like the special scene option. Yes, it's pricey and I would be much further with my progress if not those scenes, BUT I actually like replaying them sometimes. The only special scene that I regret unlocking is the one from ep 6
✦ Not an opinion, but a statement. Jason Mendal IS spiritually connected to lemons. There are proofs.
✦ Episodes: 9 and 16 have special place in my heart.
✦ This is again not an opinion, but my headcanon. So the character with the highest lovometer for me is jason, second highest is Amanda. And I like Amanda, but my sympathy for her is much smaller after episode 13 and her stupid LIES. What was that???? WHO came up with that? And the worst part is that everyone just blames jason for stealing their client. I know he is our ENEMY. But Amanda just lied about her whole life??
For some reason, as I said, she is my second highest lovometer. So Jason always gets jealous of her, which is so funny paired with the whole storyline of ep 13. My headcanon is that my oc got upset with Amanda because of her lies, but Amanda still likes her, and jason knows that, so he is jealous. While my oc is so fixated on him (in whatever way) that she doesn't notice that Amanda likes her. It's a fun headcanon. And yes I have something for weird relationship triangles.

OK but the music day event is actually really nice. Like you have 11 items to collect but it lasts 14 days so it's fine, it doesn't doesn't eat APs or gems
(But 30 gems is not a fair price for laziness. ˙𐃷˙)
At least the music notes are easy to find. I do like it, and I am glad that they gave us something nice and free
I don't know how I feel about the outfit but it looks promising, i see the potential

Firstly my edits of event illustrations
I just wanted to spice them up so they can be more glamour, thats why I changed the dress colour - beige is boring, we need more c★nt
And as a bonus thanks to my bad memory - edit of illustration from ep 14 (this is one of my favorite images in this game (ㅅ´ ˘ `), and this is the original mcl lobotomy event - I remember watching a playtrough of this episode on youtube last summer and I was like OH WHAT IS GOING ON, and now we are here)
It's subtle but a little face surgery never hurt anybody, I just like matching my illustrations to my oc and that is OK <3

Hi! This amazing event ended and I need to share my overall thoughts.
Firstly - the idea for this event was fun, but the plot was a bit boring, I expected more diversity. Still - better than the summer 2025 event, cause at least the illustrations are gorgeous.
I was able to collect everything but it was risky situation, luckily the mini game saved me, but this was nice too.
I like when we are given them for free.
°❀.ೃ࿔* Here is my overall rating!
I give it 7/10. The concept is fun and I genuinely like the items from this event (bside the room, I don't like it). It's glamour and maybe this is what truly matters - GLAMOUR.
Scenes: 6/10 Repetitive, but a bit thrilling, mean old lady was so iconic, I love her
Illustrations: 1500/10 The outfit is the same in all of them, but they are really stunning and I like them
Outfits: 10/10 Oh they ATE mwah!
The room: ??/10 not my vibe, but ok I accept it
Limited offer: 10/10 Colorful and cute
Mini game: free 500 tokens/10 kinda merciful this time! It's the spinning wheel that drove me crazy.
My favorite part of this event was def styling the items and editing my illustration, I realized that it helps me evolve my skills and it's quite relaxing. I will post them soon :p
