people don’t enjoy shipping anymore. the point of shipping isn’t the catharsis of watching them kiss onscreen, it’s grabbing the characters and mashing their faces together like you’re five years old playing Barbie in your room again. it’s to take one moment of eye contact in canon and read that over and over and over again with twenty different writers’ interpretations of the characters internal monologues if they were in love. it’s to see the characters interact and cheer because you know that’s another moment to add to your list of canon compliant fic ideas. you’re stressing yourself out, this is supposed to be fun!

I don't understand why people are mad at Sanji fans for pointing out why they don't like live action Sanji? It's because its no longer him. We fell for the character because of his flaws and triumphs. His heavy self-worth issues as well as he is quick to anger and lashing out. He is cagey ever since he's been a child and never really lets up until he joins the crew. His unmatched kindness even to the face of a villain. His silly little wiggles & spins when he's excited over ladies. I don't care, WE don't care. Sanji is loved & hated because he's just that amazing of a character. And sadly, we don't see that much of it in the Live Action. We have some of his moments (BIG ONES AT THAT BTW) taken away and either given to another character or just left out entirely... to me personally, OPLA is a spin-off or a retelling. No where near true canon for me.
