hi, im cherri/sage/roxy, im 14 and i like to draw! i use she/any and i interact from @enasanity, my main and edit blog. im a selectively sharing porrim maryam yumeshipper but i don’t really post about it that much! im @cherubonica on all socials (twt, insta, tt, yt, bsky, etc), but i basically only post here and plan on posting to yt/tt. there’s more stuff under the cut if you’re really jazzin to get to know me lmao

Foreboding Beauty (Context: This was an ArtFight attack on Andrew Hussie on the ArtFight site (Team Comedy) (Friendly Fire)) My very first friendly fire, let's go! This was my first time drawing both The Gardner and Sn0wman. I knew I had an idea in mind for these two when I saw them available to draw, but the execution was a bit of a surprise for me. I rarely do rendered pieces because I haven't found the right brush for them, and I'm a bit of an amateur at them most of the time. But this idea spoke to me in a way that I wanted to try something new for this attack that wasn't just cell shading. So I pushed through, found a really good brush for blending colors, and got to working. I think the part I struggled with the most was rendering the blue roses. Drawing roses, let alone painting them, was not my strong suit. So I apologize that they look really off compared to everything else in the piece. Outside of that, I'm really proud of myself for how I rendered The Gardner and the shrub sculpture. Ngl, I thought the shrub would be my hurdle before the roses, but I managed to pull through by using the right brushes for it. I wish I had done more with the background, but I'm not that confident in that field. I hope Andrew Hussie liked it.
