2025 ART SUMMARY

Despite how little I posted for all of 2025, it might have been one of my most constructive years artistically in a long time. I will definitely be getting into why there was such a disparity between my output online and offline really soon - and also why most of the art in this summary is unrefined raw scans of sketchbook pages I haven't posted anywhere else yet - but I'll save that for later. Right now I am simply happy to have an end-of-year artistic recap where I had to narrow it down to 10 images, and some of the pieces didn't end up in the running merely because I haven't scanned them yet. I am really hoping that I can keep this up for 2026

My cat Mila passed away recently. She had been in and out of vets for months, but only a week before she passed we found out her kidneys were shutting down and there was nothing that could be done.

Mila was the sweetest, softest cat and a friend to anybody whose lap she could sit on. She lived the ideal life of a tiny round idiot baby and is leaving behind a mountain of hair-covered upholstery.

She will be dearly missed.

2024 art summary

turns out i was worried for nothing about 2023, 2024 is the year I would not make nearly as much art as I wanted, outside of a lot of sketching and trying to avoid getting rusty when my time was being eaten up by anything but art. i also spent a lot of it scanning or re-scanning art I made years prior and never posted to tumblr, or starting more things than I'd end up finishing. On the plus side my roadmap for 2025 is going to be way better

I was actually kind of scared to go back and take stock of everything I did that year cause it felt like I didn't do nearly as much as I wanted to, but I did a decent amount of stuff.
