Homophobia

I support the LGBTQ+ all the way. My mother knows this, but her and my father do not agree. My mom and I got into an argument about what homophobia is. She assumes that since is has the suffix -phobia, it’s a fear. I looked it up, and it is any dislike of or prejudice against homosexual people. It is also a irrational fear, aversion to, or discrimination against homosexuals and homosexuality. If anybody did not know of this, or assume things, here ya go. (Sources: Merriam-Webster).
