BUGHORN — WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE’RE DOING
hi. we’re bughorn. not a studio in the traditional sense. there’s no fancy office , no corporate funding , and definitely no free snacks unless you count the ones we brought ourselves. it’s just four teens scattered across the internet , making games we want to play.
our first project is mcdepot. it’s a post apocalyptic workplace visual novel where you try to survive your shift without losing your mind , your job , or your life. the world has ended , but somehow retail hasn’t. the store is falling apart , but corporate still sends memos. the employees are overworked , the managers are suspicious , and the customers… you’ll see.

mcdepot is about humor , and the strange resilience of people working jobs they hate. it’s about breakroom conversations at midnight , petty arguments with customers , and trying to stay sane when the health inspector might actually be made of meat. it blends comedy , mild horror , and the occasional heartfelt moment between people who probably shouldn’t care about each other but do anyway.
we’re making it because we love stories about strange places and stranger people. most of us have worked retail , fast food , or customer service , and we know that in a lot of ways , the apocalypse would just feel like another shift.
