This is a worldbuilding setting, focusing on fleshing out a specific mission into human space, the culture aboard the vessel, and the lives of the people on it. This blog will commonly discuss colonisation, empirical values and morality in a sci-fi grimdark setting. You can expect lore, art and snippits or blurbs.
The t'au discussed here are my interpretation, which is loosely Warhammer 40:000 canon-adherent.
To the reader, a dead dove.
The Great Adaptation is set in the Warhammer 40:000 universe. The t'au are a colonizing empirical force using extreme measures of social control and martial oppression. Do not mistake this setting as ignorant of the ideology of the t'au.
This setting is instead dedicated to exploring the culture, life and system of normal people living under this regime. Please note that while their daily life may seem regular, most of these characters are actively participating in - and suffering under - what we consider colonial oppression.
This is not a friendhammer setting. Exploring grey morality in a grimdark setting is fundamental to the Great Adaptation.
In the grim darkness of the far future, there are no good factions, and the t'au are not good.
