Also, a question. I hate to ask for a favor when I’m so late on everything, but could all of you comment/ message me saying if it’s alright if I reblog and answer these threads from my other account, rainuzumaki ? 99% of my lateness and inconsistency is due to me spending all of my time on there.

Tbh, I’m considering just adding a chibinags verse on there rather than having it as a separate blog. But I am reluctant to merge the two because I really like playing him as a kid, and I’m worried I won’t get to very much if I do that. But the way it is, I’m not playing him much anyway?

So basically, if it is alright, I’d like to experiment with continuing our threads on there, to see what that does for my response time. You don’t have to go follow or anything (unless you want of course. Haha). It would be a potentially temporary thing, but if it really helps, I may merge the two.

 Nagato put the kettle on the stove and walked back over to Rei hesitantly. He still couldn’t help but think it was somewhat rude, but she had said it was alright, so… he couldn’t contain his curiosity.

     ”What is it?” he asked shyly, touching the arm’s cold metal surface. “Did you get caught up in the war?” The thought of losing a limb made him want to shudder.

She moved the metal limb around- it’s intricate gears and different mechanical ligament functions creaking as she did. Letting the child get a nice view of it’s quality. “It’s a metal prosthetic- but instead of a strap that I can comfortably remove…this one’s got a permanent shoulder socket.”

Rei smiles, shaking her head. “Nah, more like an earthquake if anything.”

     "Wow..." Nagato breathed in awe, running his fingers over the grooves and details in the metal. He couldn't believe that something like this could be made. "So it is more like an extension of yourself than just added on."

Whatever holidays might have been a thing in the Land of Rain, were probably disrupted or greatly minimized due to conflicts, especially things that would take money like parades and festivals.      "Yeah, I have!" Nagato said, grinning a little bit. "Yours is a lot darker than hers, though." He wondered if that was something a lot of people in this area had. He had never been to the Mist before.

Hinari nodded to his question. “Sounds great. Sure take care of waiting to eat later huh?” She smiled and sat back, now all she needed was to wait for her clothes to dry. 

"I’m heading back to Konoha actually." She didn’t see a bit problem  with sharing with him Her mission wasn’t a big mission at all either, and it was already a success. 

"Where’s that though? I would’ve thought this was the worst so far from what you’ve said."

Nagato's movements slowed as he continued scooping food into the bowl. "In a way, I guess you could say this place is the worst. I mean, it is, really. Though I have heard that Kiri isn't much better off, most places are better. But... it's home, so that makes it a little different." In reality, Konoha was near the top of his list of places he wouldn't be thrilled about visiting. "Maybe I can go with you part of the way," he said, finishing filling up the bowl and offering it to her with a small smile. "I don't really want to go there, but going in that direction is a start, at least."

     ”Ahh, milk please!” Nagato said. His mother had always told him that milk was very nutritious and he should drink it whenever he had the chance to. Dairy wasn’t produced in Ame, so they hadn’t had it often. He took the lid off the bento and his eyes shone brightly at the sight of how stuffed with good food it was.

     ”Did you and Shani-nee get the rest of your work finished alright?” he asked in between bites of food. He felt kind of bad for sleeping so long, but he supposed he had needed the rest.

"Yeah, no problem!" Hahari said, pouring him a tall glass of milk. "The customers always come in a little more slowly at the end of the day. She’ll have enough mending to keep her busy tomorrow after errands, and then we’ll have a fresh start for new work on Monday."

She grinned excitedly at Nagato. “After we grocery shopping I’ll give you the grand tour and show you all the fun places around here. Just wait and see!”

     "So it is almost the weekend?" he had lost track of time in the middle of traveling. "What kind of fun places?" Nagato added hesitantly. This place had seemed very nice so far, surprisingly so, in fact, but the thought of exploring around was still kind of strange to him.

He finished eating the bento and sighed contentedly, getting up from the chair and taking the dish in his good hand. "Where does this go?"
