theyāre similar to maizoshima in the whole āmy ultimate revolves around understanding people. i know youā vs āyou know nothing. i am planning your death at your loved oneās handsā EXCEPT while sayaka sees Nothing wrong w junko, celeste can tell thereās smthā¦ off abt her - the part that drives her insane is that she canāt figure out what it is. sheās spent so long watching peopleās tells and figuring out exactly what they mean, and she recognises junkoās tells every time they happen (a flick of her hair, studying her nails, her hand squeezing mukuroās arm) but she canāt work out what they signify. junko is the one person she canāt quite understand, and she hates it
THEYRE SO GOOD AS DESPAIR GFS TOO,,, celeste is v difficult to make fall into despair bc sheās not particularly one for human connection, like sayaka w her bandmates or makoto w komaru - her main motivation is money, to secure her dream. so junko takes kind of a āif you canāt beat em, join emā approach and tells celeste just enough to rope her in - promises of money, if celeste is willing to kill to get it. again, celeste can tell thereās something more to this deal that junko isnāt telling her about, but her dream is so close she can taste it, so she accepts anyway. she finds she has a taste for it, forcing the embodiments of hope to kneel at her feet, and junko starts to feel something other than despair - awe. they bring the world to its knees together, with celeste rolling in money and junko relishing in the destruction they create
