I love secondhand plushies! I love going to thrift stores and finding new friends! I love taking them home and giving them baths and brushouts! I love adopting already loved plushies from other folks' collections online! I love loving them again! I love brushing out their mats, cleaning their eyes, fixing their stuffing, and just generally bringing life back into a friend! I love bringing home plushies that have sat on shelves for years, collecting dust and finally loving them! Shared to me through a source on Tumblr which wishes to be kept anonymous, a new poster for the current Astro Boy Reboot was shared by Mediawan Kids & Family's Linkedin page on May 21, 2026!

This is in anticipation for their event at Annecy Festival 2026 in France showing the work-in-progress (WIP) aspect of Astro Boy Reboot; the event will occur on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 from 9 AM to 10 AM Central European Time.

Most notably, Atom's (Astro's) character design has changed again, perhaps to take the criticism from fans to heart in order to improve his character design. What do you think about how he looks now?

Also, it appears that a city that looks very similar to Divercity from the original Caribara Animation version of Astro Boy Reboot is in the background of this poster. Perhaps a nod to the original version of Astro Boy Reboot?

Hehehehehe it’s done >:D hilariously I ended up not using Procreate Dreams at all despite only working on this intending to test it out… couldn’t even do the final effects/compositing because you can only have one video track and you can’t layer videos on top of each other. Oops. Made the background in regular Procreate though? Animated in RoughAnimator and polishing/effects in AfterEffects. Had a lot of fun, I haven’t gotten to finish an animation in quite a while (although I’m getting to that point too in a work project now)!
