I don’t think I’ve ever loved a single character more than I love Thomas Barrow. Even if he did steal a dog that one time.

thomas making sure tom is having the most uncomfortable lunch of his life....the awkward silence when thomas purposefully doesn't answer until tom adds 'mr barrow' at the end of his sentence....thomas' clenched fist in the foreground WITH sound effects...the way you can slowly see the will to live leave tom's eyes as the scene goes on....a true masterpiece

alright mild mischaracterization but. i picture thomas as being a massive bummer around groups of gay men because he's spent so little time with people who can empathize with him that he has no idea what makes a funny queer story like
