Costume Progress: Harley Quinn- Infinite Crisis
My latest costume adventure is a bit out of left field for me. It feels like ages since I’ve made anything other than ornate “trim monsters” as I call them. So here’s something completely different!
Infinite Crisis Harley Quinn was a must make for me since I saw the design. It’s adorable but very clearly Harley. In the seas of Suicide Squad Harley’s that we are bound to see this year I’m glad I can join in on the Harley Hype in something cozy.
I altered my go-to Kigurumi patttern to create this costume. The most time consiming aspect was definitely the appliques. SO MANY DIAMONDS! I satin stitched each design onto the base pattern.
The hood is huge and super cozy! I really wanted a big hood to fit a wig in with pigtails.
I did make an alteration to the original design. The design featured a butt flap that opens to reveal Batman panties. It’s very cute but it’s not my style to be revealing. So my flap is false and cannot open.
