Another round of Queen of Hearts photos coming your way! This costume just keeps getting better and better in pictures, and I’m seriously so in love with how everything turned out. It took quite a few card tosses to get this right, but I think you can agree the results are worth it. Can’t wait to share more!

I’m incredibly proud of the hand sewing I did for this cosplay. Every tiny bead, every delicate stitch, it was certainly a lot, but I'm glad it's worth it. From the layers of the skirt to the intricate embroidery, it’s been months of hard work, but seeing it come together has been SO rewarding.

Huge shout out to Heather, my photographer who made me feel like a true Queen of Hearts! The way she captured every angle and made me feel so beautiful, something I always struggle with. It’s one thing to make the costume, but it’s another to have it brought to life through the lens. I’m absolutely in love with these shots!

It’s finally here!! After a lot and lot of time planning, creating, and working nonstop until my poor fingers protested, my Queen of Hearts cosplay got her studio shoot with Heather! I couldn’t be more excited to share it with you all! Every stitch, every detail—this has been such a labor of love, and I’m so thrilled with how it turned out.

So it’s been a while since I last updated on my tumblr! :o
But anyways, here’s a little update: I’ve been working on my Holiday Sailor Moon cosplay but then I remembered....October is before December so I need to work on my October cosplays first! xD So I but a small pause on that cosplay and went to go buy fabric for Ariel’s pink dress! (The gold fabric is for Belle and the red with white polka dots is for a Ladybug dress that I’ll be wearing to Disneyland next weekend, I just need to paint the white circles black) I’ve got the white pieces of the skirt cut out, now I just need to sew it up and then put on my hoopskirt before I take a picture progress! Still debating whether or not I should wait until I get the pink over skirt cut out first...
I’m still waiting for things that I bought online to come in: my Princess Hilda wig and my Sophie Hatter wig and my crescent moon charms. (Only my white corset came in on Saturday)
NoFlutter Anna Progress: Crown
I came to the realization as I was working on my Anna costume that I had enough supplies to make NoFlutter’s Anna design as well. I love NoFlutter’s artwork. I have several of her designs on my to-do list. I didn’t consider doing her Anna design however until recently. Now I’m super excited to make this costume.
The first costume element I’ve finished is her crown. I love the fact NoFlutter included a nod to Sven in her design. I began by painting the antlers. I used two Christmas ornaments from Hobby Lobby for the antlers. Originally they were a light taupe color. I painted them brown and added black details and gold tips. I finished them off by adding a gloss coat.
The base crown is from Hobby Lobby. The antlers and surrounding flowers are glued on. The flowers are from Joanns, Hobby Lobby and Michaels. I added a mixture of gold and pink glitter on some of the leaves. I love adding personal touches on items like that.
I can’t wait to see the crown with the wig!
