Playing with Paper Dolls 💜 "They were my friends."

Playing Dress Up 💙 "The dress up clothes were discards from my great grandma, grandmas, mother and a few other women in my life. At the time I thought they were very glamorous, especially the black lacy night gown that seemed like an evening gown to me! Dressing up allowed you to be someone different and play act out stories...Your question brought back a lot of nice memories!"

I liked to go shoot my BB gun by the creek and find trees to hide in with a friend.

"Let's see, when I was little we moved around quite a bit so I didn't have a lot of neighborhood friends. I used to have a few Tonka toy trucks and I would set them up like they were in a truck yard or construction site. I would make up stories with them and act out all the characters."
