he’s a wild, wicked, willful boy and even the wind is afraid to knock him from his step. the clothing he wore in neverland did not work here, made him stand out, made children not want to come to him and that was unacceptable, so he slit a man’s throat and stole his coat. it was a little big but that’s no matter because most of the children around here did not wear nice clothing. he was just another boy in dirty clothes to them. not a devil hiding out. 

thin fingers reach out and pluck at the person’s hair, pulling and tugging without a care in the world.

some general psa’s

peter does not do well with adults. human adults at least. fairy or otherwise supernatural adults are more likely to have him not try and hurt them but human adults are more likely to have peter try and gut them then speak to them.

he is drawn to what he refers to as the “magic” or “lost” children which is to say kids mostly under the age of 17 who are from very messed up families or broken homes. he will “rescue” them from abusive households and then convince them to go into neverland and join the devils

peter tilted his head to the side, playful and happy for the moment, a light birdlike laugh escaped his parted lips as he watched what seemed to be a fun game to him. 

“ can i play? “

Peter didn't answer. He pulled his legs up to his chest, wrapped his arms around them, and put his chin on his knees. Ever the contradiction, Tanngnost thought. One moment a cold-hearted killer, the next a sentimental boy, always the eternal optimist despite a lifetime of tragedy. Of course, that's his glamour. The very thing that draws the children to him, makes them love him despite so many contradictions.
