Anonymous inquired: hello, stinky (affectionate). do you plan on ever adding makoto to your multimuse? or even on here as a guest muse like how rise is? || unprompted.
{ Hello hello! I have actually considered adding Makoto to this account before in the past since he’s such an important part of Rise’s character, but I’ve always hesitated because I was unsure if there would be any interest in him! If there’s genuine interest in my boy, I’ll happily search for a face claim and write out an about page for him, but I was afraid of doing all that and no one wanting to interact with him! }
{ starters have all been written, I'm hoping to get around to answering asks over here tomorrow! I'm feeling a little rusty for some reason, but it'll brush off I'm sure! Once I'm caught up over here I'll get to work on stuff owed over on my multi--stuff over here is just easier to manage since writing for Rin and Rise just comes naturally to me. Please look forward to owed responses over the course of the next couple days!! <3 }

Rin had often found himself alone in the small space he shared with Mikaela, being left behind so his father could complete his duties on behalf of his biological mother, of which he knew nothing about. The nights in the city under the surface were quiet, eerie, lonely. The young vampire prince had often spent his time by the window, staring out at the lights that illuminated the paths of the vampire city he had the misfortune of calling his home. That night hadn't been any different than the others--or at least, that's what the blonde had initially thought.
Hearing the front door to the house opening, the boy turned his head ever so slightly to catch a brief sniff of his father's scent, indicating that Mikaela had returned home much earlier than usual. Was that a good thing? After all, he had to be alive to return back home.
And yet, even despite Mika's presence being welcomed back into the shared space, Rin didn't dare move from his perched spot in the window. How could he? Mika had never mentioned to Rin that he was going to be leaving when he did, so the boy had to admit he was a bit hurt to be left out of the loop.
"...welcome home." He finally spoke after a moment, his gaze not moving from outside the window. "Were you... ever planning on telling me that you were going, or was I just expected to figure that out whenever I got the message you'd died out there?.."

It was strange to have such young children wandering around the barracks, but it wasn't incredibly out of the ordinary for the young Fumie. She couldn't have been older than eleven, and yet that didn't stop Rise from being nice to her and trying to make friends. It was strange, admittedly, when Shinya first brought the little girl around, especially since he'd already been taking care of her dear "friend" Makoto for roughly a year before finding her. He'd taken on a caring role for her, trying his best to watch out for her and take care of her when Shinya wasn't able to do so.
So, Rise had found herself around the girl often, since she spent so much time with the boy she was unaware of being her twin brother. She too had done her best to take a more role model of a role for the young child, wanting to set a good example of what a JIDA soldier should be and what they should do.
Spotting the young girl sitting outside on her own, Rise softly exhaled as she tucked a small satchel under her arm before making her way over to sit beside the girl. "Hey, Fumie-chan! What are you doing out here all on your own? Where's the Major General?"
@whitetiger-byakkomaru || x.
It wasn't uncommon for Rise to find herself sitting inside the Major General's office, she'd come to find his company quite comforting and he always seemed to give her the best advice when she really needed it. That day was just like any other, where she found herself needing to vent and cry over something the Lieutenant Colonel had done. It wasn't uncommon for him to scold her, however, he rarely ever yelled at her, not after knowing all the trauma that surrounding shouting men from her past. And even still, that didn't mean the man hadn't slipped up every once in a while.
While she found herself explaining away what had happened between herself and Guren, she hadn't noticed that there were two eyes on her that didn't belong to Shinya. No, they belonged to that of his demon, Byakkomaru. Even though Rise herself hadn't noticed the intense gaze from the white tiger, someone else had. Esdeath.
The demon floated beside her human half, crimson gaze locked on the creature that could present either as animal or humanoid, currently sitting in his elegant white tiger form. She couldn't take her eyes off him--not when she didn't know what his motives were for watching her so intensely. Rise may have trusted Shinya with her life, but Esdeath wasn't so quick to blindly trust others.
"You--demon. Why do you stare at us so intensely? Don't give me a reason to come over there and have a more personal chat with you. I didn't think you were the type to be so... nosey."
{ hey y’all! I know I disappeared again but I’ve been really busy lately! Between getting sick, getting a car, working, and having a con this weekend ( which was a blast, btw! ) I haven’t had much time to be on here! I’m hoping to change that this week since things are going to return to my regular “normal” schedule. Thanks for always being so patient with me! }

@whitetiger-byakkomaru inquired: Here comes Byakkomaru casually draping himself across Rise's lap, seemingly unworried about the fact he's much bigger and heavier than her. Get squished Rise. || unprompted.
Usually when the girl found herself alone, she was being pestered by her own demon self, Esdeath, but at that moment she was being quiet and leaving her alone. No, instead, there was a different demon coming out to play, one she wasn't really expecting to see. After all, this demon wasn't her own, but that of her precious Papa.
A soft laugh parted the brunette's lips as she was forced to sit back to accommodate the mere size of the demon's beast form, not to mention the weight that came with his presence, both physically and demonically. Letting out a small grunt, the girl shook her head as she managed to raise her hand to touch the tiger's white fur.
"Y'know, Byakko, you're not exactly a lap cat."
