So many changes,
Well I’ve been coming into my own a lot since I’ve realized I’m non-binary and shared it with the people in my life. There have definitely been rough moments with people who don’t respect my pronouns and who I am but overall I’ve been very lucky to have a lot of support.
The next big change I’m going to be embarking on in this journey is changing my name. I’d been thinking about it for a while but only recently really decided I needed to do it. I usually go by a shortened version of my deadname but a lot of people have a habit of extending it to said deadname and that has not been good for me. I also just don’t feel it fits me anymore.
I’m in the midst of testing out names now as I will be changing it in full legally when I get married (I got engaged this Christmas) as I don’t want to deal with all of the headache and paperwork twice.
I don’t particularly have a point to this post other than an update to wonderful people I haven’t gotten to talk to in forever because I’m never on here anymore. Also if you want you can call me Briar now, that’s the name I’m currently testing. I am open to middle name suggestions too because I’m at a loss there. My last name will be starting with B if that helps for suggestions.
I miss you guys and maybe one day I’ll be back on here more.
