On this week's Arcadia Weekly News!!

I finally get to post something for one of my main fandos!!

This has been on the works since MARCH! But damn was all that time worth it. I'm really proud of how it turned out!!

Also, have some fun facts under the cut because I worked on this for months, so I'm gonna talk about it goddammit!

This illustration would've never happened if I wasn't bored out of my mind on one of my extracurricular classes .

Claire was done for a whole 3 months before I even started to render both Jim and Toby.

After I did Jim's jacket design I wanted all 3 to have the initial for their "tittle", so Claire has a little 's' on a chain for 'shadowmancer' and Toby's colar thingies come together to make a 'w' for 'warhammer'.

Claire and Jim have matching earrings!

Toby was the one that gave me the most amount of trouble just because I don't draw him that much, so it took a while to get his likeness just right.

The majority of Jim and the entirety of Toby's rendering were done during my unity engine class because I was, again, bored out of my mind.

If you look reeeealy closely, Claire has a few white eyelashes on her right eye.

I'm currently righting this while eating burguer king for lunch and procrastinating going to the gym.

Pushing my headcanon that Toby learned Trollish from Arrrgh while the other two were away, and since Arrrgh is a Gumm-Gumm Toby picked up that dialect/accent and tends to use terms like impure without realizing

hi just so you know. trollhunters was extremely formative for me (seems like it was for you too). i discovered adjustments back in 2022 i think? and it genuinely changed my writing style and i go back and reread it probably twice a year cause i love it so much and it makes me feel so close to the old fandom and how i felt watching the show for the first time. so i guess i wanna say thank you for it, thank you sm ❤️❤️

It's been a hot millennia since I wrote for that fic. I still think about it fairly often... I'm really glad it means that much to you, since I spent days at a time tending to the plot and characters. I'm proud of it even now.

Someday I'd like to finish it, and also publish a few other TH fics that never saw the light of day.

HELLO!! I am new to the fandom and quite late at that too lol, I just recently finish watching troll hunter, the show only and am currently going to go watch the alien series (I don’t remember the name >.>)

Anyway’s, I love the troll hunter series, but has it was ending, I thought will have more scenes of troll Jim, but sadly that never happens in the show 🥲

So I have a request, if anyone knows a fanfic where Jim is still adjusting to his troll form,and we follow him on his journey of finding “the new troll market”, I would really appreciate it!
