The exhibition that i’m a part of is now open in Brick Lane! If you’re in the area, come on down! There’s lots of really awesome lens-based work going across two floors so it’s well worth a visit :)

Just a quick heads up - reminder! There are shots ranging from London Expo May '10 to MCM Birmingham just gone ( i will upload as soon as this exhibition is finished!) so if you are around London, come along!

Not only that but there is some genuinely great photography and lens-based work around the entire building, not just our Swansea Met area ;P, so wander along!!!!

"Space to Perform: The Art of Cosplay" - C.Hillier Swansea Metropolitan Degree Show 2013

So I'm part of a two-part exhibition, featuring the amazing talents of Swansea Metropolitan, with my cosplay photography which was the basis of my major project for my final assessments (eek)

A lot of cosplayers from a lot of conventions from the past (academic) year are featured in my work - even more would have been featured, but I was limited with exhibition space! - so obviously, I'm hoping to get as many people to be aware of this exhibition.

It would be great for people to come and see not only my work, but the awesome work of my coursemates.

Hello to all followers, old and new!

First up, major apologies for the delay in uploading photos - I have a backlog of Birmingham MCM and two private shoots, as well as a few shots from London MCM just gone. I've been busy with the final push to finishing my assessments for my BA Hons degree in Photojournalism, as well as setting up two exhibitions with my coursemates - not only that, I'm due to move out of my flat very soon. The photos will be up in due time, I promise!

Speaking of exhibitions - my cosplay work is part of a group of soon-to-be-graduates at Swansea Metropolitan University Dynevor campus, so anyone in South Wales should come along and have a wander at some really great photography.

For those non-Walians, the exhibition will soon move to London's Brick Lane between the 20th-24th. It would be really great for people to come along and see the work. I'll be putting details in a separate post, as I'm hoping to get some signal boost for the exhibition :)

Other than that, I hope everyone is good and that I hope to see you all soon!

I don’t follow any on this account, but UK Cosplay is a great tumblr to follow - although, you’ll have to shift through my work at the start, I think they’ve queued up all my LSCC work for the next month :P They have some pretty kickass cosplay on that blog.

Apart from them, I don’t follow any others, that I can think of. I tend to follow cosplayers individually, on my personal.

I had a fantastic time at LSCC, met some really really cool people, met up with friends who I haven't seen in yonks and had general jokes n banter.

So, to formally conclude my photographs of LSCC, I give you the best photoset of them all - myself being an attractive human being with Lady Loki, and my girlfriend being a gremlin tortoise the best assistant ever.
