I created this to remember how important this date is. I actually started this before in anticipation, but finished it on the 4th. I wanted to try something new with painting and being more creative, I'm really proud of how it came out! I'm definitely planning on shifting my style and exploring all sorts of creative avenues. I'm quite bored of furry artwork, character design, and character illustration... my past work no longer feels right to me and I want to start fresh. (Be on the lookout for me rebranding and moving accounts!)
This is one of the most important dates of my life. I started something that will change my life forever, though I want to keep this vague and personal. Not only this, I was also able to hang out with my friend (Kasey) for a whole day together AND Deltarune chapters 3 and 4 came out!! Kasey and I went to picked up some of my packages together, the whole drive was very nice and it started drizzling (turns out we both really enjoy the rain!). Afterwards, we went to eat at Chili's! They're so pricey holy shit but the food was sooo good, it was nice getting to just sit and talk with her. Then we went to a pet store and saw all sorts of critters,, then we went to a nerd shop nearby and joked about expensive anime figurines. After that, we went mall and got dippin' dots!!! so yummy,, We went to all sorts of stores and while we didn't buy much, it was still nice to just look around xD And finally, we went to a book store where she bought slime to play with and I bought myself a nature book. I had so much fun with her, it was great getting to hang out. Absolutely fantastic day, I will never forget it.
Back to changing my life for the better... I know myself too well. It will take me a long time and a lot of support to be able to truly progress in life. I will do what I can and hope life shows me more mercy. I struggle with horrible depression which leaves me just bedrotting whenever I'm not needed. I will spend this time either sleeping, scrolling, or daydreaming. I think it has gotten better though, which is very good. I'm trying to push myself towards hobbies that I find interesting enough. Unfortunately, I get bored very easily, but the times I have been able to go through with something, I end up kinda enjoying it. Anhedonia is a good way to describe this.
