I love Chimpanzees!

Chimps are smarter than we think! 

Chimps are smart enough to make tools for jobs in their everyday life! It was previously thought that chimpanzees were not sentient enough to create tools and use other objects to make their lives easier. I found out that these creatures used sticks and grass stems to fish out ants and termites for a quick snack!

We need to stop deforestation!

Many animals rely on these trees as their homes. Without their homes they are forced to moves somewhere else most likely closer to human civilization. Once closer to civilization they will be exposed to threats like poachers and, starvation. The chimpanzee population has drastically decreased due to deforestation! We need to protect these intelligent animals before it is too late!

How did my studies of the Chimpanzee  contribute to the Anthropology World?

I spent 30 years in the jungle studying and living with these magnificent creatures. Us humans can learn so much about them, and from them. They aren’t as different from us as you might believe. These animals exhibit emotions and feelings that we were unaware of prior to my studies. These animals function in roles we didn’t even realize even existed!
