Just watched 365 days and I regret itđ
am i the only reader that noticed how sangwoo not only prefers female victims but, that he does because he is sexually attracted to them, and thats why in one of the chapters , he says after seeing an attrative women in the hotel he tells bum wasint she amazing and then says, whenever i see an attractive women like that i imagine torturing her and seeing her scream for help, he says it with a smile in his face like he feels so happy seeing a women screaming being torture.
I don't think he's necessarily sexually attracted to his victims. Koogi said that he doesn't usually have sex with those women (Jieun was an exception because he needed to trigger Bum's jealousy) so I don't think there's a strict relationship between whether he finds a girl attractive and if she'll get killed or not. There is, however, another fact to keep into account: Sangwoo kills girls/women who remind him of his own mother. Eunseo was undeniably attractive and Sangwoo gets triggered not by girls he just finds attractive, but by those who are specifically Eunseo's kind of attractive.
Sangwoo is also a victim of rape and I think this might have played a role in how he may feel an unhealthy kind of attraction to women who remind him of his mother ... But I honestly don't think he enjoys torturing attractive women in general.
He seems to do that because he wants to reenact the death of his mother in a way that puts him in charge of it rather than passively witness Eunseo's choice to kill herself. I think it has a lot more to do with Eunseo than with any girl he actually killed.
I don't think he enjoys killing and torturing women, what he enjoys is the idea of 'changing' his traumatic memory by creating tons of fake memories in which he gets to choose his mother's fate instead. Of course he isn't aware of this (except for maybe in late season3 when he remembers his traumas), but I think this is his main reason for killing girls.
When Sangwoo and Bum are eating out and they're drunk, Sangwoo points at a girl claiming she's the CEO's daughter and states that 'no matter how many times you kill girls, they keep coming back'. I think this proves that in the end the girls he kills are pretty much irrelevant, as long as they look like Eunseo he'll feel the need to use them as substitutes of her to reenact her death in a way that lets Sangwoo have control over it.
About the girl you mentioned, though, I think Sangwoo also wanted to mess up with Bum because he's just like that ... He probably wanted to get a reaction. Sangwoo has serious communication issues and never manages to actually open up to Bum about his past. I think that sometimes when Sangwoo tells him that kind of stuff it's because he's making very clumsy attempts at opening up about his issues ... But in the end he never managed to. The closest he got was when he told Bum about how his parents met and how he was born, but they were both drunk and Bum wasn't even listening ... :/

30 Day Character Challenge
Day 16: The dumbest character
Yoonbum (just him, I only put Patrick for reference)
I think itâs pretty much confirmed that Bum is the dumbest character because even Lee said heâs not smart and called him slow, Seungbae called him stupid too and also we have seen all the dumb things heâs done throughout the manhwa so we ourselves have witnessed his huge dumbness. Heâs also so dense⊠anyone in his place would have noticed that Sangwoo wasnât ok with his surprise, that his surprise was affecting him but no, Bum is too stupid to notice.
Honestly if he ever had taken an IQ test, his IQ level would have definitely been below average.
But Bum managed to be admitted into university, doesnât this prove that heâs actually kind of smart in general? I think most of the remarks about Bum being âslowâ and âstupidâ is due to stigma linked to mental illness, I think they perceive him this way because his mental illness shows a lot in his behavior, but this doesnât mean that heâs stupid. I agree that it was very stupid of him to not notice that Sangwoo was uncomfortable with his surprise, but I donât think Lee and Seungbaeâs opinion was based on anything but prejudice.Â
Yeah Iâd say his emotional/social intelligence is lacking but he isnt stupid, he just never seemed to have the proper resources (therapy??? just a single adult treating him well and with empathy??) to be mentally healthy enough to developâŠhealthily.
I agree!! I think his emotional/social intelligence is lacking but he isnât fully stupid if he could study at university (and he could also somehow leave his abusive uncleâs house and go live alone).Â
I know this is a huuuuge reach from my part, but the fact that the question says âfollowing KSâ rather than âafter KSâ makes it sound kind of ambiguous if her reply is about something entirely new or something actually related to KS in some way.Â
This is most likely just a bad translation thing (maybe the word in Korean is actually âafterâ) but I feel like it was worth mentioning.
Also, upon reading her Q&A again, I find it interesting that even there Koogi mentions the thing about Eunseo not having died on that day, which is the same thing Kwak said in chapter 61. The question wasnât exactly about this topic, so why would Koogi ask this when her comic is technically over and we donât have enough data to actually find an answer by ourselves? This almost sounds like foreshadowing, but why would you do this when your story is already over?Â
Idk whatâs up with all these weird details (Kwakâs - and Koogiâs - words about Eunseo, a rather âunderwhelmingâ last Q&A, the fake death theory having the potential to be true and the choice to avoid showing whether Bum died or not) but everything is ⊠S u s p i c i o u s.Â
Is it too soon?
Crying đ
Sangwoo likes to be held by bum itâs a fact lolđ
Ohh! I was looking through the chapters to check something else, but I think Iâve just realized why Sangwoo looks up at the sky after hallucinating Bum leaving him and getting intimate with his HS crush in the car.
You know when else he looked up at the sky?
Thatâs when he felt sick while playing soccer in high school. Itâs the day Eunseo started to poison him like she did with her husband.
So, I guess that after the Bum/HS crush hallucination he started to wonder if Bum was planning to not only dump him, but kill him too. When Bum tried to put his gift in the same basket where the rat poison was, on the same day, Sangwoo felt like that theory he already had in his mind got confirmed, and thatâs why his obsession grew so quickly and exploded that same night.Â
