literally the guy who stole arthurās eyes:
When i was designing my john i did not expect him to end up in a medieval settingš I got inspired by the fashion of late 14th century a.k.a. the time when the mad king of France ruled))

By the way... That's how i imagine Larson
Tall lanky Arthur and short strong Human John is the gem people aren't thinking about. John can pick Arthur up easy, but he's a floppy tall noodle that won't cooperate to being picked.
YES! I always thought it was very funny John being slightly miffed over how tall Arthur is over John, but John makes up for it in bulk. Arthur being a difficult guy to carry simply due to his length is hilarious to me.
Hark! Comes the yellow King! If it wasnt for the lack of legs, he would probably stand twice as tall as any man!
Woop, another famous painting but Malevolent'd~
This time it's Caspar David Friedrich's Wanderer Above the Sea of Fog, except it's Arthur gazing at the Dreamlands landscape (thanks @croik for the rec ^^)
Linked below is the original piece, along with a tiny easter egg :3

Sneak peak into one thing I'm working on. I recently got into Malevolent and had to turn this new obsession into art. I struggled a lot with this face, but I'm liking how it looks now. There is still some work to do, but I thought I share it anyways :)
I'm studying J. C. Leyendeckers art style for this one.

I really like how Chambers' KiY is an evil play, so I took more of a stage costume approach on Yellows design
His real body is the stringy thing around the wooden puppet base, though without John, he doesnt have enough matter to cover it, or fill out the limbs. He is also pretty tattered, i imagine he got roughed up when kayne suddenly grabbed him and shoved him into the Dark world and then into Arthur's eyes
Iām now relistening to season 3 for the next falling compilation (woo!) and Iām not sure how I missed this in my first listen (or I probably noticed it but there were so many other things to focus on) in Part 23 āThe Pastā thereās the moment where Arthur is climbing outside the building and reaches the ledge he has to jump around (approx timestamp is 28:55 on spotify where the scene starts)
Who is the woman who says goodbye?? Itās such an interesting moment to me because this is Arthur choosing a risky move knowing that he could fall to his death and weāre on edge about the whole mystery behind Larson. Was her voice a memory, actually present in the scene, or just for the audience? Was he thinking of Bella in that moment? Faroe? Was it the woman who was killed in Larsonās basement? Emily or Anna?
Has this been mentioned before?? Does anyone have other thoughts or answers because I would love to know!
I think the most malevolent thing about the "Malevolent" podcast I've been listening to is the inclusion of food noises.
Like, it's all like-
Mal: "Hey, want to hear a guy eat tomato soup messily?"
Me: "No.. Not particularly"
Mal: "Hehe oopsies, it's already in the audio"
Mal: "Wanna listen to a guy slorp down some canned peaches?"
Me: "Oh dear god no!"
Mal: š "Let the slorpening comense"
And thus, I had no choice but to listen to someone slorp down a can of peaches. It was like nails on a chalkboard to my ears. Only, it was all wet noises and slurping. Such sweet music to my shuddering, horrified listening holes.
uninterrupted apple chewing asmr is my favourite
So John is visible through the pallid mask, which means all the cultists in the hotel could see him while arthur was trying to blend in? Thats awkward Also what exactly do you see if you look at arthur through the mask? I assume you dont just see the king in yellow standing next to him, so is john like a shadow or a haze around arthur? I checked and John actually saw his reflection at the hotel and reacted srangely (never told arthur though)
I dont think he saw himself as a separate entity because his reaction wasnt dramatic but idk
Arthur and john or something, idk l never listened to the podcast
