Update!
If you follow the work of the Penparcau Wildlife Group, a citizen science project in West Wales, you may know that we have been rather quiet of late. I have just got a Master's degree in Human Geography, for which the dissertation looked at our very own project! Now I am doing a PhD in "Community involvement in biological recording: an ethnography of citizen science". As part of the PWG I hope to run more surveys and spend more time talking to people about their experiences of the group.
To kick us off, there is a Mermaid's Purse hunt on Monday the 16th December at 2pm, meeting at the car park on Tanybwlch beach, near Aberystwyth, West Wales. Come along and find out more.
