i have selfshipped all of my life. i have found myself always feeling more for fictional characters than real people in a romantic sense, so therefore i label many of my selfships as being actual relationships to me. on top of that, i highly suspect having bpd, so that also very heavily affects the way i personally go about doubles and my selfships. for this reason, if you happen to be close to someone / prefer someone else's selfship over mine in regards to my own, i kindly ask that you don't interact. you can follow, but given what i stated, i might not follow you back if i find out about the case. fans of my faves can always follow, but there's no guarantee i will follow back, especially if you lovemail my f/os / do ccxcc or ocxcc. i'm very picky, is what i mean.
speaking of picky, i tend to be very VERY picky about the ccxcc ships i like involving my f/os. if you need a list of my OKs or neutrals, you can always ask, but know that sometimes they won't be very long. no offense and i always love female characters, but i am always am more than likely gonna be averse to ships with f/os that feature a female cc (even if it's a player insert character) just as a woman myself. sort of a "i wanna be their only woman" kind of deal, but i will always love the women you may see my f/os possibly paired with. i'm also almost always gonna be averse to ships with other male characters and my f/os if they happen to be popular and i don't like them. obviously no-gos for ships are problematic ones, i will hit you with a stick.
some stuff about my ships that you probably should know! they will always have some semblance of long-time friends to lovers, whether it is childhood friends if they are some realm of humanoid, or they are stated as longtime friends if they happen to be some ethereal beings. all of my selfships feature LITERALLY ME, please do not refer to the brunette chick you see as an oc, at most it's just me tweaked for certain universes for fun. all of my poly ships are what i call "all-around polyships", my simple way of saying that these are not harems and are legitimate polycules; most often do i have throuples but very rarely can be quads or quintets. my selfships are no stranger to danger and codependence and possessiveness (the ladder two obviously in a loving/healthy way and never in a toxic way) so i guess steer clear of that. i like flustered men and my s/i is always gonna be some form of an unconventional woman, especially in regards to her being masculine and not being your typical female love interest. thumbs up.
i do fidelity with some of my closest friends, however i never expect reciprocal. as of late, i've retired my old list and have instead decided to just keep a mental list. more or less what you need to know: if a character is your main f/o that is one of my close friends', then i won't follow you. if they're more on the down low, then i may follow you.
IN RELATION TO ANY MIHOYO/HOYOVERSE STUFF: since a lot of these games have a lot of lore that i personally have not all the time to sit down to consume in one sitting, i learn it all from my very good friend. they probably also have the potential to help with my own world building but that's another topic. if you follow me for any mhy stuff, i might be super selective on following back, just because mhy fans tend to be really weird...and some of the characters are really weird and i wanna steer clear as well...also if you happen to ship with any of the explicitly shown lesbian or gay characters of the games (or. in general, but i digress) as someone of the opposite gender, i will not follow you.
for my own personal comfort, please do not follow me if you interact with or are friends with @/fauniilla /nillabean ; and @/2descent /floodlandss (<- if we were already mutuals and you follow them, that's fine, but i have my reasons).
