“how do i get rid of this?” you huff as you click the bar into the machine, stepping out from under metal rod.
katsuki looks up from his spot on the floor, notebook open to his latest PR and rotation. he had started keeping track of his workouts in an old notebook a few weeks ago (the phone he had previously been using died and with that, lost all the data)
“of what?” the blonde eyes you through the mirror, catching every minuscule movement as you place your hands over your lower abdomen, fingers pushing into the plush tissue you find.
“this?” you press harder, your skin dipping beneath the pressure. “the fat?”
katsuki blinks at you but you pay him no mind, continuing to turn this way and that, getting all angles of your body in the mirror, glaring at the midsection that never seems to flatten out despite all your efforts.
“your uterus?” he asks with a raised brow.
your shoulders fall, breath wooshing out of you as you slump into a forward fold. a tad dramatic but you like the stretch in your thighs.
“it’s not my uterus!” the words come out muffled as you speak into your knees, your cheeks smooshed upwards at the inversion.
your boyfriends hand on your lower back has you tilting back up, fingers pressing into your hips to almost hinge you up right.
"Yeah, its not but its the fat that keeps it safe." he clarifies, sliding his palm over your stomach to come rest above your womb.
"but it's still fat." you frown despite the urge to smile as katsuki presses into you, his chest flush against your back as he rests his chin on your shoulder, holding eye contact with you through the mirror.
"more or less." a soft kiss is pressed to your exposed skin. "it has a purpose, just like all your other muscles have a purpose, this one is to keep everything safe and warm."
you hum. “still wanna get rid of it.”
katsuki presses down harder, holding you tighter against him as he bites down, teeth sinking into your shoulder. you are suddenely even more thankful for the private gym.
“even if its gonna keep all our kids safe?” his voice is slow, the timbre of it hitting you exactly where he had aimed. “i know my opinion shouldn’t matter but i love it so much.”
“seeing your cute little tummy, knowing that youre healthy drives me crazy.” one hand splays out across your abdomen, the other grips your hip and pulls you tighter against him. “when i’ve got you bent in half and you’re all squished and soft, fuck, makes me wanna put a baby in you right there and then, make you even softer and squishier.”
