Did Hussie really just change a panel because of the fandom?

The answer is a yes.

Changing Caucasian to Peachy, Hussie decided to please this uptight, obnoxious, and rude fandom just to make them happy. In return, people are still complaining about how racist he is and why he changed it. If you were a true fan of Homestuck, you wouldn’t care if the characters were African American, Asian, Caucasian, etc. The entire point of this webcomic is to enjoy it and to savor the plotline.

To be honest, I’m pretty upset with the fandom. This isn’t your story, it’s Hussie’s, and if you don’t like it, then don’t read it. Race has little to do with the plotline, so why are people making such a big fucking deal about it? If you’re seriously going to stop reading this webcomic just because someone has a canon skin color, shame on you.

You can still have your head canons for the kids, trolls, etc, but when you think that you’re so right and that the creator of this fucking webcomic is wrong to the point of where he basically apologies and gives you what you want is pretty pathetic.

Come on, fandom, this is why a bunch of other fandoms hate our guts.
