Okay so like Jeremy introduces Michael to Rich PROPERLY one day after the SQUIP incident and Michael is just like “jesus christ is that a fucking gremlin” ((jeremy swats him on the arm))

And Rich is just so pissed like “BITCH THE FUCK” and Jeremy snorts and tells him “no that’s Rich Goranski, Jake’s boyfriend”

- first of all you can pry jake in a wheelchair out of my cold dead hands

- but rich would totally push him around even though jake would keep insisting that he could do it himself 

- when the squip comes back for rich it’ll tell him that his scars are ugly and so jake takes it upon himself to a) always have some mountain dew red handy and b) make sure that rich knows that his scars are beautiful and just a part of him 

- when jake’s legs start to heal rich is always there to help him walk if it hurts or he starts to fall

- even though he’s five five he still tries 

- eventually rich decides that he is bi for jake and the next time the squip comes back it starts to tell him that he’s not good enough

- and after rich has drunk the mountain dew red he starts crying and that’s how he confesses to jake 

- and jake “no homo” dillinger finally gets smacked upside the head by reality and realizes that he likes rich back 

- and so he confesses too and they agree to go on a date

- and voila you have a cute richjake post

Jake and Rich kissed once when they were drunk and Jake could never forget it. Rich has no memory of it though and the only reason he was able to do it was because his Squip was fucked up due to alcohol. When the Squip found out what happened it made sure to repress the memory as much as possible and had Rich avoid Jake for a little while. Which obviously kills Jake because he thinks he’s ruined their friendship, so when Rich comes back to him asking about his weekend, since the Squip has finally deemed it ‘safe’ for them to hang out Jake juat goes along with it. He doesn’t vare if Rich acts like he doesn’t remember, or about how he was being ignored. He just never wants to lose Rich. (He does care, he cares so much and it fucked him up but y'know what? Repress it.)

- I am 1000%% there for the headcanon that rich can barely be understood when congested

-Rich is the sickie who doesn’t really eat or drink a lot and has to be forced

-Rich hates how much weaker he is when he’s sick, he can’t even lift his boyfriend anymore

-he also hates how much more uncomfortable his binder gets, but refuses to take it off

-a lot of the time he thinks him getting sick is just his period…so he pushes through it until he’s throwing up in the nurses office

-you can tell he’s sick if he’s wearing a long sleeve instead of all the stupid muscle shirts he has

-“Rich your sick go home” “fuck that and fuck this shit”

-watches a lot of dramas, soap operas, and rom-coms with Jake when sick

Jake

- Jake gets sick a lot after parties, he just has really bad hangovers

-he hates to be alone when he’s sick but just kinda nonchalantly deals with it

-wears about 5 sweaters when sick

-says the dumbest stuff when sick. Like the boy just looses all filter

- he’s shown up to about 3 parties while sick, he can’t just ignore his invitation

- “Richy…my dude…my homie…my ultra snazzing gay…” is his way of asking for cuddles

-sleeps for about 12 hours

-the one more prone to high fevers

-also the one who always forgets to take medicine, but will eat like no tomorrow

HOO OKAY i think about this all the time

so like when they’re friends in the beginning jake like. probably doesn’t know about the squip right?? so he doesnt realize rich had a squip until he no longer has one. and i think at first it would really take him by surprise cuz in the beginning of rich w/out a squip he would just. Not Talk because he’s self conscious about his lisp and also doesnt want people like jake to judge him for it and stuff so he’s just really quiet and talks really slowly so not to lisp and jake is like ?????? and rich also probably has like. Big Abandonment Issues so him shutting down is his way of like, “if i just dont say anything they wont hate me and leave me” but like, jake Knows something is wrong and eventually rich would probably talk to him about stuff and jake is just like :( wtf how did i not know this………and he just feels like a Bad Friend but is very supportive and just there for rich (which he like. really needs)

overall i dont really think anything negative would really happen to their relationship except for rich kinda shutting down in the beginning

Jake had always thought of Rich as that guy he’d absolutely, positively, /never/ would be into.

Course, that somehow changed. It was a process. Rich no longer had a S.Q.U.I.P., from what Jake got correctly. Neat.

That “neat” changed to “amazing” when Rich first came to school after the fire incident.

He looked tired. Dead tired. Dark circles were present under his eyes and… Jake didn’t know. He couldn’t place his finger on it.

Of course, then he spoke for the first time. He was awestruck. It sounded so… Nice?

“Yo, Jakey D,” Spoke the other, smaller man, “What’s up?” He had a lisp. It was just barely heard. A soft “th” when he said the s. Jake was amazed by it.

He first felt actual attraction when they talked more. A few months later. It was a simple ass conversation, about clothes or something like that.

And that’s when Jake started to realize small things about Rich.

How he always touched the arm with the biggest burn scar. How his eyes darted around the room when a topic came up he didn’t like. How he just barely smiled when a mention of how utterly /good/ he was came up, even if he denied it in the end.

Love, he deducted. This is love. Barely there, yes, but…

He felt like he could get used to this.

So people seemed to really like my boyf riends headcanons so here’s richjake ( I might do cinnabon ones later on ;33 )

Jake constantly takes Rich to Sbarros because he loves that place so much he needs to share it with the other love of his life

They still constantly call each other bro and dude and say no homo

But when nobody’s around “Jakey bear” “Richy boo”

Rich will constantly try and impress Jake like “Hey watch me bench press this random thing” and Jake thinks it’s the cutest thing

If Jake compliments rich he’ll act really cocky like “haha yea I know its because I’m awesome” but he’s actually a blushy screaming boy on the inside

They are really defensive of each other like if say one bad thing about one of them the other will hunt you down and just “I heard you were talking shit about my bro”

“Hey bro do you wanna cuddle or something ”

“HELL YEAH MAN”

Seeing rich really hates being at home he practically lives with Jake by this point

Jake smooches rich’s freckles and burn scars all the time

They both support each other as much as possible, like rich is always trying to be there for Jake and give him company so he doesn’t have to feel so alone and Jake is constantly finding ways to help not only deal with his squip recovery but his home issues as well

They also give each other random piggy back rides like all the time and just run down the hall with each other while everyone is just confused

Jake either teases rich about his lisp or repeadtly says how cute it is and how he loves it no in between

⁃ rich playing his rock music too loud in the car, but smacking jakes hands away whenever he tries to turn it down ⁃ they totally double date with brooke and chloe fight me on this ⁃ rich tries to act like a tough guy but melts as soon as he sees jake !! ⁃ one time they’re fighting and jake let’s it slip that he hasn’t forgiven him for the fire, even if it was under the squip control ⁃ he immediately regrets saying this, seeing richs face fall ⁃ rich leaves, and doesn’t speak to him for a while ⁃ but angst is sad so jake makes it up to him and they end up apologizing for hours they’re good and gay again ⁃ rich picks up drumming to work on his anger issues left over from the squip and it helps ⁃ jake loves the look of the arm muscles he’s getting from it oh boy!! ⁃ but he really does love coming over and listening to him play them, he’s pretty good ⁃ sometimes rich gets him to try it, but he kinda sucks at it. not that rich would ever tell him that ⁃ jake freaks out on a kid who said rich was “faking being bisexual because he’s really fully gay and needs to realize that and stop being confused” and yells at them and boi he’s scary when he’s angry but he goes on some rant about sexuality ⁃ rich saw the whole thing and yanks him away before he kills someone but not without mumbling “we’re doing some gay shit tonight.” as he drags him off by his collar ⁃ he loves when jake is angry, it’s hot ⁃ i need to think of more of them i love my boys so much they’re so under appreciated i feel, especially jake
