au where its the annual purge and jimin is rushing to get to his apartment on time before the building shuts down for the night, but he’s too late and ends up locked out of his apartment complex, he tries to find find sanctuary but everything is shut and locked down for the night, at one point he’s standing in a parking lot and a van drives closer to him and he tries to run but the van is too close, they catch with him and block his way, a few men step out, throwing some dirty remarks about his appearance, talking about how everyone will get their way with him’ before the leader gets shot between his eyes along with the rest of his men, jimin is horrified and tries to flee but ends up running in the arms of one of the shooters with a mask on who coos ‘aw baby calm down, you’re safe now, couldn’t let those ugly assholes have you huh?’ and jimin gets pulled into another van, close to the shooters who shot him and five other men, the way they act is crazy, they seem like they’ve gone mad, like their excitement is turning them into crazy people, the shooter next to jimin takes off him mask revealing an attractive man, he leans closer and says ‘well babe, you don’t look like you wanted to participate tonight, guess you’re staying with us, don’t worry, we only want to rob every bank in town, thats all, unless we see someone messing with pretty boys’ he ends with a wink, and jimin’s night is terrifying but he gets protected and ends up safely back home, though now a few months later he does wonder how he met his boyfriend during the purge…
