It's been a whole week since #Omnia Vanitas - and finally I'm able to write a short review here.

First of all, I would like to suggest everybody to visit Barcelona (all Spain, speaking frankly) because it's a really wonderful city, full of sunny people and good food. Unfortunately I was able to give just a quick look at it, carving out only a little time between the main Lolita events (Thank you for the company, Clio Lo Presti!. Spanish people are like cousins for me by now and I love them deeply...Probably I was a spanish girl in a life previous to the japanese one, ahahahahaha!

Anyway, both the saturday's event and the sunday's tea party took place into quite evocative halls very consistent with the theme of the events. The beauty of both the Imperial and the Palace Hotel, snugly together, would render anyone speechless. Now...Just try to combine the location and the extraordinary outfits and you can imagine me slack-jawed the whole time considering it was the very first international Lolita event I've ever attended.

On Saturday, I really enjoyed walking through the stands, shopping and trying to speak to somebody with my "rickety" English. Then, Fashion shows (indie and brand) took place together with a Q&A session with the stylists (including Ashizawa Yuko from Pierrot Atelier who I'm very a big fan of) followed by an unlucky raffle -could I've ever won that?-

On Sunday, outfits were even more elegant and more original than the day before, everything took place in a very quite and relaxing way (almost like being at a wedding!). We ate desserts and salty snacks, talked a lot, took pictures and visited the other rooms of the Palace. Unfortunately everything lasted seconds...when you find yourself at these kind of events you would like to enjoy them forever!

The event has been planned flawlessly, I can just imagine how hard they had to work to make everything running so smoothly. So, I want to give a very special shout-out to @streetfashioneurope and to all the Spanish Lolita Alliance staff! Greetings to the italian girls, I'm just sorry for realizing only during the Tea Party that also Silvia and Stefania were there.
