Oh, thanks! I'm just doing what I can to protect everyone. It's always nice to see recognition, though.

"at Wuwang Hill, There's a One Big Ghost with Black Glowing Eyes"
Thank you so much for the information!
I've set up a plan to effectively exorcise this spirit. With the help of some friends, I will be setting talisman at Stone Gate, Wangshu Inn, and Mingyun Village, and the border of Minlin in order to prevent the spirit from traveling to any populated areas or Adepti holy ground. Qingce Village is at most risk as it's the closest to the spirit, so I will stay there for a day and then travel to Wuwang Hill. With all of this set up, I should trap the spirit from escaping. I won't let this one slip away. Don't worry!
My own rendition of what I think the infamous Specters of Inazuma must look like. I’m told they have one large eye, and attack with Anemo, Geo, and Hydro. As I’ve stated in my letters, I know even less about these spirits than I do spirits of continental Teyvat since I can’t travel to Inazuma. In spite of this, I’ve done my very best to imagine how they would look with the little information I do have.
Fortunately, an acquaintance of mine is actually traveling to Inazuma for an event, I asked if she would be so kind as to sketch any specters she may see while on her journey. As such, this entry may be updated sometime soon with a new, more accurate sketch.
Hey loved your performance at wangshu inn yesterday! Who knew you could sing so well! Your sword kinda came super close to beheading a patron but they seemed super stoked about it so i guess everythng worked out. btw can i have your autograph
Oh Archons... That was not a planned performance, I am so sorry for the disturbance I caused. I wasn't aware bamboo shoot soup had jueyun chilis in it, I was so certain that I checked on the menu...but I must have only given it a passing glace.
Um. If you really want an autograph, I guess I can give you one. But I assure you, there won't be anymore performances like that one. I hope.
have you ever kissed?
I have to go.
Chongyun, what are your thoughts on the "specters" of Inazuma?
I've heard a lot about them from the traveler. Unfortunately I'm unable to travel to Inazuma, so it is impossible for me to investigate myself. I have heard from a penpal of Xingqiu that they are a nuisance, but offer valuable resources. Hopefully someday I can see one for myself, and successfully exorcise it.
"Hello Young Man, I'm looking for a Exorcist Here Because There's Another Haunted House with a Big Ghost."
Thank you for the tip! Could you please tell me the location of the house? Is there any other information you can provide for me about the spirit? How big is the ghost? I will try my best to exorcise it quickly.
hey chongyun, has xingqiu told you about the ligma demon of wuwang hill? its pretty scary! you should go check it out!
No he has not! What is a ligma demon? I've never heard of it. Do you think there is any risk of it traveling to Qingce Village? If so, I’ll need to save the villagers from the ligma.
I've received many letters and tips concerning a certain "food stealing demon" that swipes treats from under the victim's nose. I've made this entry to clear up some confusion. This isn't the work of a demon at all, but a beast. Guoba is the mysterious companion of Xiangling our Liyue harbor's local chef. While he means no harm, as a victim of his antics I can sympathize with those referring to him as a demon. I can not exorcise beasts, but I can offer advice on how to deal with them:
Never take your eyes off your meal. Even if you bring an extra meal along with you to offer to this beast, nothing will sate his appetite.
...Still, Guoba really does mean no harm. And even if he does eat your food, he will try to earn your forgiveness through strangely enthralling dances.
also, your drawings are lovely :)
Thank you very much. They unfortunately must come from my imagination, considering I've never seen a demon or spirit up close. I try my best.
I know of a monster and his name is Childe
Childe of the Fatui? I've heard some rumors about him but I didn't suspect him to be a demon of all things. I will have to look into this, thank you for the tip!
happy birthday CHongyun!!! what will you be doing on this special day?
Thank you. This is not a question about evil spirits, but I appreciate it anyway. I don't usually celebrate my birthday, but my friend insisted on treating me to dinner. So I guess that's what I'm doing.
Sometimes the Book Demon is kind. Even if it shows it by committing vandalism.
Qiqi is not a demon nor beast, and poses no threat to anyone. On the contrary, she is with Dr. Baizhu in the business of healing. However, it might be beneficial to write some information about her for those that don’t know much about zombies, or about Qiqi herself.
Qiqi’s memory isn’t very good, so when I tried to ask her what being a zombie is like, she didn’t know. So I’ve tried to piece together some information from what I know about her, as well as other zombies.
Most zombies require orders from the necromancer who awakened them, but curiously Qiqi has a degree of free will in that she can give her own orders. She does accept orders from others, like Dr. Baizhu, but she has some trouble completing more complex requests.
Most zombies are malevolent, and seek to absorb the life force of the living to sustain themselves, but Qiqi can exist off normal food. This could be because most of her meals come with cocoa milk, which special milk from the legendary adeptibeast, the Cocoagoat. The milk probably has some kind of divine property that keeps Qiqi as a good zombie, and also might be the reason why she has free will. I’d like the end this by thanking Qiqi for standing still for me to sketch her. I thanked her earlier but she didn’t seem to remember why.
Xingqiu, please do not add entries to my guide.
I learned of this vile creature through its documentation in ‘Anecdotes of Demons and Oddities’. Though I am grateful for the writer to have provided such a detailed description of the sins committed by this immoral villain, I found myself overwhelmed just by reading them. This beast has committed unspeakable crimes and must be stopped by all accounts. The instant I am able to track down the writer, I will find out where this atrocious individual is and swiftly bring an end to them. It’s the only way to protect future victims from it’s savagery.
I have been informed that ‘Anecdotes of Demons and Oddities’ is a work of fiction.
Another spirit found on Wuwang Hill. This one, in contrast to the ghost child, is very dangerous. It has the ability to corrupt the minds of Hilichurls, making them even more aggressive and dangerous. It’s possible this spirit is strong enough to even possess a human. I was never in direct contact with this spirit, as I never am, but it could definitely detect my presence and made an effort to avoid me at all costs. I first found traces of it on Wuwang Hill, so I took up a temporary residence in Qingce Village in order to assure it would not approach civilians any closer. Since then I was able to track it traveling east, towards Dragonspine. This is likely the best I can do to assure the safety of the innocent. If I continued to chase it, I have no doubt it would travel even further east to Dadaupa Gorge, where it would risk corrupting the Hilichurls there.
I write this as a warning to those who might make the dangerous trek up Dragonspine; please be aware there are dangers far worst than frostbite lurking in the shadows.
