Due to the nature of the work and the company you MUST be British born to obtain security clearance. Duties/Role: -Assembly/manufacture of components, sub-assemblies, final assemblies of production and/or development products -inspection and testing of products including operation of automatic test equipment responsibility for self-inspection thereby requiring high levels of accuracy and quality of work -You will be trained in some of the following operations: welding, brazing, coil winding, encapsulation, soldering and machine operation Qualifications/Experience of the Assembly Operative: - No formal qualifications are necessary but applicants must possess basic numerical and literacy skills. - Must meet stringent Visual Acuity standards including colour blindness and depth perception. - Must have previous experience within a similar assembly environment and have proven mechanical or electrical skills. - Staff are responsible for self-inspection so a high level of accuracy and quality of work is essential. - This Assembly Assembler role requires the ability to work to processes and procedures and meet the required performance targets. - Must be able to work in a team environment.
