She kissed his forehead before resting her own head on his. “How do you feel, love?”
"Exhausted," he answered honestly, struggling to keep his eyes open
She frowned and nuzzled him gently. “You feeling sick?”
"Not so much, more tired," he replied gently, turning his body and sitting upright.
She sat up with him, gently rubbing his shoulder. “Didn’t you get a good night’s sleep?” She asked gently. “Or was it too good?” She added teasingly.
"Too good," he chuckled back, lifting his head and kissing her cheek. "You look beautiful as always."
She blushed and ran her fingers through her messy hair. “Thank you Erik…although my wild mane makes me look like a barbarian.” She giggled.
"My barbarian," he grinned and kissed her cheek a final time before he shuffled to the edge of the bed and placed his mask back onto his face.
