I'm sorry

If you follow my blog (s), I feel as though I can safely assume you are part of the LGBTI community in some way. Over the passed four days I've been thinking of what to say in the wake of the Orlando Gay Massacre. All i can think is I'm sorry. I'm sorry to my brothers and sisters out there who have been the target of other peoples hate. I'm sorry that you may or may not have spent the better part of your life hiding from yourself because other people make you feel ashamed. Im sorry. People will try and claim all sorts of mistruths about the massacre, but through and through this was an act of homophobia. They will say this doesn't happen all the time, but it does. There is no difference in calling out faggot as you drive passed someone and pulling a gun on 100+ innocent lives. I'm not American, I've never been to America, but this should hot every single memeber of our community hard. What am I going to do? Take up self defense lessons, it may sounds strange, but if I'm ever in a situation where I see my brothers and sisters being hurt by hateful people I will protect them. We should all do the same. Learn how to disarm someone. Learn how protect the people we care about. Stand up for our community and our people.
