I believe that we typically OVER estimate what we can accomplish in the span of a year. But we UNDER estimate what we can accomplish over the course of decades. Just because your short term goals didn't go exactly according to plan don't let that take your focus away from your long term goals. Long term is far more important than short term. Most of our greatest accomplishments will come from decades of hard work. Even though it will take years and years of sacrifice and hardwork, truth is we truly accomplish these goals in one moment. The moment when we made the decision to truly commit.

Hustle + Patience = Success. Believe it or not I think most people know how to hustle / grind / work hard or whatever you want to call it. What we struggle with is patience. We get so excited about the goals we set but if we don't achieve them immediately we tend to give up. The people who achieve serious goals not only hustle, but they stay patient even after "speed bumps."
