The head in profile acts as a containing form, its silhouette constructed entirely from densely interweaving wild botanicals, such as climbing vine tendrils, passionflower heads and clematis vines. #artforsale https://www.chriskeegan.co.uk/product/mind-bloom/

Chris Keegan is a screen printing artist that I did some research on. The second image is made up of three colour layers depicting trees, branches and leaves. The inspiration for the prints comes from wondering through a forest, looking up and seeing the changing patterns and shapes as the different types of trees overlap and intersect with each other. The colours are added to highlight the layers and add extra contrast. Chris keegan’s work also reminds me of the famous ‘drip painting’ artist Jackson Pollock due to the use of colours and the abstract feel of his work.
What a stunning example of hexagon geometry in nature. #saturn north pole
My latest artwork, wreath and is a mix media screen print with airbrush stencil finishing, built from layers of wild botanical forms woven into a circular garland. https://www.chriskeegan.co.uk/product/wreath-print/ #artforsale #printmaking #wreath

AI tool from Runway called infinite image from Chris Keegan on Vimeo.
Playing around with more AI tools. This one from Runway called 'infinite image' Took a long time yesterday afternoon to create this from an existing Cover illustration I created of a tree floating on some clouds. I then used the ai to expand the landscape into space! Which i then animated the zoom effect in Blender. Would make a great music video. Music by: Acronym called Endless Horizon

Ebsynth AI Style transfer animations from a single Photoshop image. from Chris Keegan on Vimeo.
I have been working on creating AI animation using frames taken from videos I make of flowers. The original Keyframe I create in Photoshop, using a digital paintbrush effect. Then experimenting with EbSynth style transfer to convert them into digitally illustrated animations. The original keyframe I illustrate acts as a reference for the rest of the animation's frames. As you can see it's tricky to get them to work for long periods of time. Sometimes after about 50 frames, the AI quality seems to drop off quite quickly. Creating an animation from a single illustrated image is so useful.
Maybe watercolour painting style transfer next.

Aurora Borealis by Chris Keegan in Blender from Chris Keegan on Vimeo.
I've been learning volumetric animation in Blender EEVEE, so what better natural phenomena to use than the Aurora Borealis? I began by generating short renders of the Auroras' ethereal magnificence. Then edited them together, i think it work out better than i expected. It is accompanied by a track from the wonderful and talented SIEGE. I hope you enjoy it.
If you have any questions regarding how I created it, please do not hesitate to ask. Music by SSIEGE Track called: Delete Instagram chriskeegan.co.uk
TouchDesigner animation effects tests. from Chris Keegan on Vimeo.
These have been created using animated video and still image inputs to create paint and watercolour melting effects. Touchdesigner has been pretty quick to learn the basics and is very productive once you get going with it. See more of my work: chriskeegan.co.uk

Spray paint style procedurally generated animation. from Chris Keegan on Vimeo.
Compilation of some procedurally generated animation loops. With these I am trying to create a subtle air brush or spray paint effect. The equivalent of masking off areas with tape and then spraying paint over to create series of gradient effects.
