I can't decide if I'm a cat or dog person. I have one cat but she's not friendly with other animals. When she dies I've decided I'm either getting one dog or five cats. This is non-negotiable

“Sea Creatures”, Pamela Colman Smith, c. 1907
To me, real houses are dollhouses
I take photos of my surroundings. Of night time. I'm obsessed with houses. If I pull out my camera to take a picture, there's a guaranteed chance the picture is going to have a house or building. Viewing them from outside and never knowing what's going on inside. They're like dollhouses to me. I pick favorite houses like I pick favorite pants
I'm obsessed with the corners of my house. Just how I see them in the moment. I've drawn my house since I was a little kid and I still draw corners, houses and buildings whenever I can. The pictures tend to be more gloomy and depressing than the drawings.
More nights like these please

Is anyone else ever genuinely shocked when you find out you have an impact on someone’s life? A coworker can be like “I’ve missed seeing you” and I’m just like “???? you?? missed me????? My presence has an effect on your daily experience???? I affect things??? W h a t ? ? ?”
