First Look. Octavia Spencer as Madam C.J. Walker for Netflix.
Do you know the "impostor syndrome"? Also called autodidact syndrome, people express a fom of sickly doubt which consists essentially in denying ownership of any personal achievement. These people therefore more or less systematically reject the merit linked to their work and attribute the success of their businesses to elements that are external to them (luck, hard work, relationships, special circumstances).
I suffer from it to a lesser extent and it is paradoxical because I accompany people in their entrepreneurial journey so that they go beyond that and not scupper themselves.
It is a daily challenge so before going to buy my 2020 agenda this afternoon to have a clear vision of this new year, I will do my small non-exhaustive retrospective of 2019 to give me strength!
Happy 2020! It is been ages since I have been here...And I am happy to be back because this year I am committed to rediscover my creativity back and it’s start by getting back to writing! Not that I didn't do anything during the 2 years that I deserted this platform, but I payed less my primary passions and focused solely on delivering the work requested and carrying out the projects launched. And there are a lot of positive things that I will summarize in the next few days but in the meantime, I wish you health, love for yourself and your loved ones and may your projects come true! Every day allows us to surpass ourselves and so will it be in 2020! I have goals to reach so my 2020 motto, will be #Make2020Count , which means make the most of every single day in every domain. See you on the way...
I am like bears, i hibernate. Not only because i hate winter but i am often sick in dec/jan. When you're tired, you easily catch a cold. I am not fully back on track but business doesn't wait and 2018 is full of opportunity! First official appearance of the year, this friday #ADNE New Year reception where i met those hard working young ladies @afromumpreneur & @sandrakanani ( 1st pics ) and the Inauguration of the Lumumba Statue by the artist #RhodeBathSchebaMakoumbou. An initiative by Mireille Tseushi Robert from Bamko ( 2nd pics ). Let the season begin! #RootsEvents #JustFollowMeMagazine #AfroMumPreneur #AfricanWomanInBusiness #Networking #Empowerment
#QuoteOfTheDay LIVE every moment, LAUGH every day and LOVE beyond words... As we go straight to the point of the year 2018, I can not help myself as every human being to look back, to look back on the past year and make resolutions for 2018. 2017 was a year filled with seized or missed opportunities, lasting or fleeting encounters but always impacting, moments spent with family intense but too short, trips to discover others and myself, projects initiated or postponed, 365 days that did not look like any other thanks to my son Jahi. <3 It is fashionable to make resolutions early in the year, let's be honest, when saying we then have problems to keep it for the the remaining 330 days. Yes I would have to start the gym (because of the healthgood and because I have a lot of weight to lose!), I have to see more my family and friends (time is the only thing that we do not catch up!), i have to allow myself the means of my ambitions. But these are not resolutions that I will take for 2018, but a motto that must accompany me along my life. We have trouble remembering all the little pleasures that sprinkle our lives and tend to focus on the small or big pitfalls we encounter on our way. If I had only one wish for you, for me in this year 2018, it is to be able to appreciate every little positive moment, every small or big victory, every moment when life makes you a gift. My gift to myself at the beginning of the year is this jar that I will fill with every positive moment that will allow me at the end of the year to see the glass half full and embrace the coming of the new year with even more enthusiasm than the year before! Why don't you do the same? Long ( 365 days! ) live 2018! #WomanInMission #AfroMumPreneur #RebelWithACause #RootsEvents #EmpowHerNetwork #Eesaw2018 #JustFollowMeMagazine #BrusselsAfricanMarket #SpatConsulting

#HelloOctober I always had mixed feelings about October... I need sunshine for lack of heat and the last weekend of the month we lose an hour of clarity. The days become shorter and the nights cool down. The trees get beautiful colors but are preparing to lose their leaves October is the month of my birthday, I lose in youth but I hope that I gain in wisdom. October is also the month, I realize now, where all the striking enterprises of my life have been launched. To name a few: #KILISWATHI, #Les Afro'péros, the @brusselsafricanmarket ... A new challenge will require all my attention in the coming weeks : @eesaw_summit which will take place on October 25th and 26th, the day after my birthday. And a few days before, I will fly with my acolyte to intervene in a Business Summit in Johannesburg. I welcome October with exultation and at the same time with apprehension. Let the "party" begin and let's (e-)meet in November for the record of this month of 31 busy days! And you? What do you expect in October? #Autumn #WomenInBusiness #AfroMumPreneur #RootsEvents #EESAW2017

En transit... #JustFollowMeToDC

Kikongo connecting People... #JustFollowMeToDC
« Kikongo, connecting people » !
