NEED TO KNOW.
Eldest son from the clan of seven that creates the Landry’s. He makes it a point to remind his siblings that being the first born is a true burden, they all know he’s joking mostly.
The reason for his nickname is still unclear. He always thought it was because he can run super fast, but sometimes he gets made fun of because how sparing he is with his seasoning, thus just a ‘Dash’
Traded in playing with legos in order to help his parents raise the other six bouncing babies that were subsequently born right after him. He was fine with his first sibling after, but once Sebastian came into the world he privately asked that they cap at just him.
Clearly his parents didn’t listen.
Regardless, being a big brother to all of his siblings has been a prideful point for him, he tries his best to be there for them whenever he can.
When their mother passed away, Christian tried his best to continue on as normal while the rest of his siblings fell apart. The hard conversations that he never thought he’d have to have about estate, selling their home in Orleans, and everything else in between, he carried the burden to help soften the blow on their father.
Once they moved to Kings Head Harbor, Christian had every intention in trying to make a good honest go at life, but he cut some corners, met some individuals that let him enter circles that not only kept the family financially afloat, but also was frowned upon by major societal means.
He’s careful with his transactions and his odd end jobs, his cover is simply being a florist, a damn good one at that.
His lower risk jobs come from Ruben, but his higher risk jobs come from a network of gambling rings that he runs underground in town and in surrounding towns. He’s hoping to expand.
The higher risk jobs have him out of town, sometimes for days, other times weeks, but he never lets anything keep him away for too long because of his family. Though when he does leave, it’s without a peep. When he comes back, he always acts like his absence is just a blip in the matrix.
Avid reader, wishes he had time to have a pet, keeping a close eye on Bash is the reason why he needs Excedrin on most days.
Absolutely will not tolerate lying or bullshit, he’s seen too much of it to be lenient and his patience can teeter.
An actual human garbage disposal as well, if you can’t finish your leftovers, he’ll have them.
Lily was admiring one of the gardenias, her French-tipped fingers running along the petals delicately. She perked up when she heard a familiar voice, gracefully turning around in her mermaid-inspired number. “I get by with a little help from my friends,” the woman responded, giving Dash a once over. Things were not normal between the two by any means - Lily had dated his brother and had a pretty messy breakup with said brother, plus her contentious relationship with the majority of the other Landry siblings - but the two were cordial and professional. “Thanks for the flowers, they were everything we wanted. We made sure to look for winter seasonal blooms, the hotel was supposed to have arranged the flowers but there was some miscommunication somewhere and… well, you know how it goes,” she recalled with a sigh as she reached for a bruschetta on the tray next to them. “Have you tried any of the apps yet?
He studied her closely though kept his upbeat exterior as he took in everything about her all at once. Poised, well put together, extremely well-spoken, and so it seemed, always knew where to steer a conversation. Eyes glanced over at the bruschetta that she’d just plucked and he followed suit, taking a bite and nodding in agreement about the miscommunications that were easy to happen especially during the holidays. “Well, it helps that my boss absolutely adores the work you do and how it usually connects him into it. He’s often joked that the minute you stop throwing soiree’s he’s done for.” Dash laughed softly at the thought. All In Bloom did pretty well in the setting it was in, family owned and branching out to the more affluent in town. “It’s always a pleasure to get things done though, I generally don’t mind a challenge, but my recent travels made me a little less useful.” Cordial, inviting, neutral, standing in front of Lily he couldn’t help but wonder if getting along with her was just asking for trouble.

Coming back to town in the midst of the holidays was a mistake on Christian’s part, he felt as if he was putting out fires all over the place. This included coming back to a frantic voicemail from his manager at All In Bloom begging and praying that he was back in town to help out with a rush order for the town’s end of year New Years Eve bash, all curated and run by Lily Whittaker. He couldn’t say he was surprised that the best of the selection they had had to be pulled, and he was sure they could stand to deliver seeing as the business had a long standing relationship with the vineyard and any other events Lily might have curated, but he would have greatly appreciated one less fire. In the end, they pulled it off and he found that while some patrons admired the florals, they were also judging each others masks. He wondered if they were judging his flimsy one that he picked out of a Party City. When he laid his eyes on the host of honor, he found himself stepping towards her with a friendly smile. Things were amicable between them, though he only knew bits of pieces of what had happened between herself and Sebastian, he felt no reason to hold animosity the way some of his siblings did. “Lily,” Christian spoke with an upbeat tone. “Another miracle you’ve pulled here, I’ve got to say, I don’t know how you manage.”
“I don’t want to put this lightly, but you look like shit.” Christian prattled out nonchalantly. He’d promised Bash that he’d take him out for a decent meal, but he figured what was the harm in seeing how his giraffe of a brother could hold his own for some high intensity workouts? Adrenaline rushes came in different forms for the man, but picking up the dueling ropes and swatting them upwards until they were slamming back down onto the mats was another true high. “C’mon now, you still owe me at least 20 russian twists.” He said in between reps, before he finally took a slight break to grab for a bottle of gatorade, tossing one to his brother’s direction. Bash had been brooding since he’d gotten home, something that wasn’t entirely new, but how long had it been now? “You don’t have to talk about it, but in theory it might be better to let it out.”
Normally, he would have passed out for a decent 13 hours max after coming back from a trip. Unfortunately, Christian had the gall to enter the Landry’s humble abode at an hour where his eccentric father was wide awake rather than succumbing to insomnia that bled into the early light. After a rousing conversation about how one of his siblings had suggested taking melatonin gummies, Christian had been made the scapegoat to go collect a bounty of pastries for the family to have over morning coffee. As tired as he was, he happily agreed if only to get away from any other weird topics his father wanted to discuss at the moment. Kings Head Harbor was always colder this time of year and after coming from the warmth of the south, he couldn’t help but feel slightly bitter about it. He was eyeing up the menu to see if Bash would still be a baby about scones, when briefly brushed against another patron, a familiar one at that. “Cora Covington,” He gleamed with a devilish grin. “What is that?” He snatched a bite of her bakery treat, warm and delicate. “I might have to get some.”
