i feel like you're one of those who genuinely stand up for girls and women born into islam. thank you, i appreciate it so much.

Of course... they are tortured and abused and it's over looked. Their struggles are more than just ignored. They've been abandoned by the world by western society that encourages feminism but not when it comes to Islam. These girls and women are actually dying. They're being killed in the most brutal unthinkable ways imaginable, yet they have no voice... no one has ever tried to stop it. It's not even spoken about. No one has even heard of it or believe in their extreme abuse. No one simply cares and it's tragic.

The Syriac Orthodox heartland Tur Abdin (The Mountain/Plateau of the Servants [of God]) in today’s Southeast Turkey. The two monasteries in the photos are our two most important ones, Mor Gabriel Monastery from 397 AD and Mor Hananyo Monastery (Kurkmo Dayro) from 493 AD.

In the Holy Bible, Tur Abdin is known to the Prophet Ezekiel who in his prophecy against Tyre says, “and casks of wine from Uzal they exchanged for your wares” (Ezekiel 27:19), where “Uzal” is most likely a corruption of “Izal” (Izlo) which is the southern edge of Tur Abdin. The Assyrians and Babylonians also single out for specific mention “the wine of Izalla” (Izlo) in their sources.

Two great Patriarchs of the Syriac Orthodox and Coptic Orthodox Churches, H.H. Moran Mor Ignatius Yacoub III of Antioch (+1980) and H.H. Pope Kyrillos VI of Alexandria (+1971). Between them is former Egyptian president Nasser.

Yacoub III wrote about the Syriac Church:

“Ethnicity: The forerunners among the civilized nations of the first centuries. Its ancestors were the ancient Assyrians and Arameans who gave humanity knowledge and craft.”

Would you agree Lebanese, Syrians, Egyptians and every other middle eastern country not in the Arabian Peninsula are not ethnically Arab but rather just Arabized

They are probably more Assyrian, Hittite and any other indigenous population more than they are Arab. Through colonization by Arabs they became Arab (and through the introduction of Islam to the region).

The Assyrian Empire, after all, was the world’s first empire. We didn’t vanish after the empire fell …

DNA tests prove Iraqi Arab Muslim average around 20-40% Assyrian blood. It would imply many Assyrians converted (by force) to Islam and married into Arab families thus becoming Arab Muslim. I have met and seen many Iraqi Arab Muslims who look very Assyrian. Same goes for Kurdish people some have been mixed with Bedouin Arab and may appear very Arab looking and darker than some Kurds. Although not all Kurds are mixed but a good number are. I don’t think Lebanese Christians or Syrian Christians are mixed with Arab as they really don’t look it as well as if a person were to intermarry with an Arab Muslim they would convert. Christian Lebanese and Syrians appear fully Levantine and can appear “Mediterranean” but not Arab. So yes I’d say Lebanese and Syrians are just Arabized and unfortunately lost their original ethnic identity and language. They are not Arab by ethnicity only somewhat by culture and misunderstanding of what they are. As for Arabs they are extremely mixed with all kinds of things. From Assyrian to Levantine to Kurdish to any other ethnic groups that are or were present in the Middle East. Every once in a while you can see a blue eyed or fair complexioned Arab and it’s probably because they’re either not Arab at all or heavily mixed. But I think those who look truly full Bedouin Arab are southern Iraqis, saudis and those from the Arabian peninsula. As for Egyptians they are extremely mixed too but have a fair amount of sub Saharan black African in them. Kuwaits as well and some Arabs across the Middle East may be partially Black. From what I’ve seen Christians stayed purely their original ethnic groups because no one necessarily converted to Christianity (although there may be Arab Christians who joined Levantine Christian families or communities but this is just my theory) but Arab Muslims converted all kinds of people so they intermarried thus mixing. Some Arabs can even have traces of the Mongols when they invaded but typically really little.
