Warm-up skills ✌️
Most have rosaries in their cars... as for me: custom-designed pendant with a Church bell tower from Tur Abdin 🤷♂️😅
My dad wrote this book in Syriac by hand in 1972, when he was just 13-14 years old, while studying at the Monastery of Mor Hananyo (Deyrulzafaran, Saffron Monastery) in Mardin.
It’s a copy of the prayer book for weekdays according to the Syriac Orthodox Church, called “shhimo”.
The night I created a show in Times Square, New York ● Part 2
The story:
During a summer trip to New York in 2018, I got the idea to record a video where I'm juggling a football in Times Square, one of the world's busiest pedestrian areas. So during the last night of the trip, I decided to buy a ball that I knew I couldn't take back with me to Sweden and headed out to Times Square at 1:30 AM.
I had only been there a few minutes when a Haitian-French man came up to me and asked if we could record a video with the ball. It didn't take long before other people of different backgrounds joined and in total we were at least 15 people who played during the night. I went back to my hotel two hours later, at 3:30 AM, after having given the newly bought ball to the Haitian and being treated to a bottle of water by him 😭😂
