Asymmetric Styling Makeup Looks
Personally, I believe this style of makeup would cooperate extremely well with the styling of our garments. When thinking about the different makeup looks to use within the shoots and the catwalks. Personally, I think that a black smokey glossy lid would look amazing on the catwalk, as a dramatic, editorial look would tie in well with the presentation.
In addition, I believe for the shoot I could take inspiration from the styling of the red themed makeup, as the composition of the makeup reflects an asymmetric theme; which combines the garments.
These are my overall inspiration images for the makeup looks I aim to create on my models for the catwalk and the shoots.

STEPS OF FACE CHARTS:
1. Add a flat foundation shade/ skin tone to face
2. Start to lighten the middle areas of the face and add in the contours of the face by selecting darker tones from the colour pallet ; it is important to lower the hardness of the brush to create evenly blended transitions.
3. Start to add in eyeshadow around the templates eyes, I use lighter to darker in shade range when applying the colours; this helps the colours blend more and look more realistic.
4. I decided to change the look to create a more Pat Butcher inspired look; for this I used blue tones within the shadows, and added a hot pink blush around the lips ans cheek area.
5. I then added in the eyebrows, eyeliner and highlights to the face, this creates definition within the face and being the face to life.
Face Charts for shoot : Over the top, bold eyeshadow to respond to the era of Pat Butcher and the makeup style of the 70′s/80′s.
Statement Head-Wear
Statement head wear is currently a type of styling me and Beth are really intrigued in. As we are planning on looking into the generational age gap, and how it is currently ‘dead’ or ‘dying’, We believe using the statement head-wear within our styling and trend could be an interesting way to not as much hide the identity of the model; however, use it as a way to take away the stigma of people judging the individual on their age, and to enable the audience to focus more on the actual styling and trend as a whole.
Featuring statement head-wear from collections such as the Kanye West X Gaga collection; Christian Dior Fall 2018, and Rick Owens Fall 2012 Ready-to-wear, has enlightened me to different styles of head-wear, and to experiment with different design ideas of what would look best against our trend.
