Ancient volcanic eruptions formed the dark, basaltic plains of the earth’s moon, however early astronomers mistook them for seas. Sample images of moon’s surface are reinterpreted through a  predefined processing script that, through a series of iterations & at random,  subdivide the primitive geometry of a sphere.
