I guess this is the end

Even tho my heart will always belong to you, I’m walking away cuz you deserve someone better than me. You are the one person that feels like home to me but i guess we never got the timing right. In fact, maybe in a twisted technicality, we both had to spend the same amount of time to feel the same amount of pain so we have a clean slate with one another. To be able to not hold something over the other’s head. The only difference is, you spent your time getting revenge while I spent everyday of my time praying that you were happy even if that meant I wasn’t in your life.

It’s just so hard yknow? Everything is telling me to “let go” or “move on” but even tho I know should after all this, how is It that I keep finding myself unconditionally loving you? You have no clue how hard It is to not see you but at the same time see you. It’s a constant battle that I’m fighting and I keep telling myself that I should walk away but I have so much hope for us that it’s never going to die down.
